So glad we happened to find this place in Hilo! The food was amazingly tasty and filling. We ordered a pancake and one of the spicy pork dishes. This was one of our favorite meals on the island. There are a handful of tables available inside, and they were almost all taken while we were there. Obviously everyone knows how great this place is!Would highly recommend eating here!
This was our first time here and it was good. The service was great. You order and pay at the counter then get seated. It is a small family owned restaurant. All in all it was a good experience.

We love Haneul Cafe! The restaurant is quaint and welcoming and it's small. The service is fast and friendly! When we dined there, We ordered and paid at the register then sat at our table. Soon our food arrived. We've eaten the following yummy dishes - kimchi pancakes, mandoo, spicy pork, kalbi, tofu soup, kimchi soup, black bean noodles, and honey chicken. Family business! The owner usually comes out to chat which makes it feel like home! #SupportLocal

I can be a bit of a food snob and this is hands down the best restaurant I've been to in Hilo. The quality of the food is phenomenal, I can't speak highly enough of this place. The black bean noodles are my favorite so far, I also love the spare ribs and honey chicken. I can't wait to try everything on the menu!

A Korean food restaurant that I happened to visit in Hilo. It was my first time eating Korean food in a long time and it was so delicious. There are very few Koreans and more locals. There are more customers taking takeout.I ordered stir-fried pork and kimchi stew, and it was excellent compared to what I ate in a foreign country. It was disappointing that there was no pork in the kimchi stew, but the kimchi and tofu tasted good.Recommended Korean food to try in Hilo!

We got there before the rush, but next time I'll make a reservation. This casual dining Korean Restaurant has wonderful dishes that include a Meat Jun that reminds me of Soon's in Salt Lake. They do have it written on the menu & tell you that it'll be a wait but it's worth the wait Service was good too Before dining in, you will need to go to counter to grab a menu then sit down then go back up to counter to order & pay. It was our first time so we went straight to an empty table then the waitress brought the menus & told us to go back up to order. Very small..about 7 tables Looks kinda homey style if that makes sense Fans everywhere so you won't get hot Tv on in the background
