Was hoping for more, but it’s just a standard cheap run, of the mill bland Chinese food.

It's a stall in the Puainako Shopping Center. Aside from that I had a good bowl of vegetable saimin there. There is a menu board above the order counter where I placed my order with the attendant. She later brought it to me at my table. The setup is a cozy fast food style table and chair arrangement.

There was a large quantity of al dente vegetables with authentic tasting noodles in a lightly salted broth, not like the instant noodle sodium bombs.

Very satisfying and a repeat.

It's not a particularly nice place to sit, but I would actually recommend the restaurant as an insider tip.
The food is very freshly prepared.
We found the food to be very tasty.
The portions are really large and extremely cheap.
Perfect for big appetites and small wallets.

Maybe I just chose the wrong dish (chicken chow mein), because I was a bit disappointed with the food. Very basic & pretty tasteless - just some steamed chicken pieces with bland stringy noodles, no flavour at all.

i got the gravy cheeseburger and it was hecka bus, it tasted like a soft, smooth uhh burger :) and service was quick and food came quick too :

Mushroom Chicken Plate is the Islands best. The food quality is consistently great and the large portions are appreciated. The Beef Saimin is also fabulous.

Amazing food!!!

I've eaten here a few times, and the food is always on point! Really good. And they serve really fast, ebmven when they have alot of orders. Very efficient.The dining room isn't huge, but it doesn't feel cramped and it's always super clean.

Hands down the best chicken katsu on the big island!!!

Really good food at affordable prices. Their chicken katsu is amazing, it's so crispy. No complimentary water though. You can easily get food for under $10, but adding in a drink will probably put you over it.

I tried this place for lunch for the first time on November 18, 2022. I ordered the chicken katsu for $11.99. It was okay - nothing to write home about.
