Reminds of a throwback to being in an '80s mall food court. I wanna throw on a jean jacket. One critique, and it's all good, but wish they offered a peeled shrimp versions of their offerings. Gourmet food at fast food prices. Ladies and gentlemen this place is a steal. Originality is what separates the gimmick, franchise, copy paste businesses from this Gem whose name is Hawaiian Shrimp company! I never heard of lilikoi shrimp and yet was silenced by the fruitful flavor. I tried Korean chicken as well and it took me 5 minutes just to devour all that flavor of one bite. customer service and presentation was also excellent. establishment looked clean. loads of space to enjoy with friends, families and colleagues. Thank you Mr Nihipali for showing me what the standards of a food restaurant should be.

Hawaiian shrimp company hands down is the best shrimp in town. I ordered a Korean chicken plate, comes with 5 pieces of shrimp and 3 sides. If you’re ever in Hilo, go check them out in the Waiakea food court. I promise you won’t be disappointed. ??

This place has excellent food! I’ve been eating here since they were at Makuu Farmers market. I’m a garlic shrimp fanatic but they recently just added Korean chicken to the menu and it’s become a weekly must grab. A cool fact, the owner not only serves the best shrimp I’ve tasted but is also a country artist, jump on YouTube or your Apple Music and take a listen to Waylon Nihipali. You can have great food and music!

The food was so good here and the staff very courteous, friendly and helpful. We had a big order and waited for awhile but it was worth the wait because they gave plenty of food, the plate was heavy! The shrimp was so tasty and huge as well as lots of pieces unlike some places that skimp out this place delivered. Everyone was happy with their meal. We ordered 3 garlic shrimp plates, 1 steak plate and a garlic shrimp mixed plate. We had choices of Mac salad, corn, broccoli, sweet potatoes and the best kimchee I’ve tasted in a long time. The kimchee was crunchy and had so much flavor and it wasn’t watered down and soggy, it complemented the dish and they gave plenty!!! The steaks were cooked to perfection and we enjoyed the atmosphere here. They also made sure we had enough napkins and I thought that was nice of them. Highly recommended this place. The owner is really friendly and she works hard and I can tell she takes pride in her company as it shows in her food and the service we received.
