Cheap but not delicious, business is booming. Fried chicken nuggets are neither crispy nor crispy, as hard as chewing squid.

The pickled limu and kimchee cucumberkinda salty. The chicken nori and mochiko chicken tasted like sesame oil only. The egg roll didn't have much taste. The rice was undercooked and the same with the musubi. The laulau had nice flavor, just the leaves wS undercooked a little. Lastly, the cone sushi had great flavor. The rice was just really mushy. The service was great and the atmosphere is kind of cramped but it's like that with allt of okazuka places.

Great place to pick up early morning bento before work or a drive along the Hamakua coast. Prices are good and the food is home style tasty.

The food was good. I was there on a Saturday around 11:00 and there was a line out the door.I went with my daughter she frequents this lunch shop, she says she likes it better than some of the other Korean lunch shops.
I haven’t been here in years and the food is still great. I’ve always ordered the cone sushi, Musubi, and tempura shrimp. They have lots of other popular options and usually have a line (food is deliciously consistent in flavor). Get there early before they sell out on the popular items.

I used to love the food here but recently the food have been too salty, oily, and dry! What happened? A new cook? It was hard to eat and digest.

Best cone sushi but it goes really fast. Know what you want and which container you need to hold it before it's your turn in line.

Busy but always friendly staff. Love the watercress tofu salad & names(with julienne ginger), shoyu chicken, nori chicken, tofu patty & veggie tempura balls.

My grandsons loved the spam musubi, I should've gotten more. We also tried the mini lau lau, it was not so great, but the eggplant tempura with spam was amazing. 5 stars for that. Staff was very friendly, just like ohana. Will definitely go back when visiting Hilo. If you have a pot luck, you definitely have to stop here and order some grinds. They will not be disappointed.
Great prices. Staff move people quick. Tons of options! Can get little or a lot.Regular stop ???
