Made a reservation through OpenTable for the bar, but were told by the host it was not available, and a couple were seated at the bar right after we were helped? Thankfully the service and food were great, our server was attentive, friendly, and not annoying, and we continue to enjoy coming here despite the seating hiccup. Also, non-alcoholic or alcohol-removed name brands have been trending for a while (and are quite good!), and it would be nice to have more than one option on...
A popular Hilo neighborhood Japanese eatery with a wide range of menu items, all well prepared. We tried the corn ribs, sautéed eggplant and sushi rolls. Bento boxes looked like good value. Would definitely go again.
The tempura and carpaccio as starters were great. Innovative cocktails, and always service with a smile. My duck was very tasty, which was part of a "Fall Menu." If they keep exploring with seasonal menus, I will be going back on a regular basis.
