I came to this bar to get away and the owner or the cook came and started problems with me because I was cheering for my basketball team and he didn’t like it so he told me to be quiet when unfortunately both the TVs was showing basketball games! He was an old man who was bitter. I will NEVER come to this bar to watch sports! The old man is rude!

While I appreciate the effort put into creating a vibrant atmosphere, my recent experience at this bar left much to be desired. The service was disappointingly slow, and the staff seemed indifferent to customers. The drink prices were disproportionately high for the mediocre quality, making it challenging to justify the overall cost. Additionally, the ambiance was overshadowed by excessive noise, hindering any chance of a comfortable conversation. Unfortunately, my visit here didn't live up to expectations, and I won't be returning.

I appreciate that Joann's Lounge accommodated my 10 person party with our own room. It was nice to have our own space. The drink service was attentive and The pupus were delicious. Mahalo Joann's Lounge!

Love the locals here, made me feel right at home! Had such a good time, the waitress knew my name and drink (Ciroc Vodka) from the last time I was there. If you buy a cocktail ? the owner gives you food for free all night !

Favorite place in all of Hawaii. I would come here everyday if I could. Everything from the free food, the great service, and the atmosphere were five stars. This place was one of the highlights of Hawaii for me while in Hilo. If you're questioning where to go for a good bar and food THIS IS THE PLACE

I love this! I've been here twice now, and it's been so cozy and friendly. free pupus were delicious and plentiful, dollar per song karaoke, clean bathroom, drinks were cheap and strong, waitstaff very friendly and when I came back today I was recognized. I could come every day. this could be my cheers if I lived here. homey hole in the wall dive.
