“I had the Bibimbap which had some wonderful authentic ingredients. I also enjoyed the Bingsu too. Definitely, ,not a "fast food" type Korean cuisine. It's also a very cozy, small cafe with a friendly staff. Will definitely return again.“

“I love the bento at H and K. I feel it is one of the best bento available. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
I have ordered up to 75 for a function I was holding. They were ready when I got there and everyone loved them. I didn't have to deal with buying plates or utensils, I knew there would be enough for the latecomers without worrying about portion control. H and K are my go to for catering and I have never been disappointed.
Plus my kids love it. *Mic drop*“

“I found my favorite restaurant in Hilo on the Big Island.I recommend the ribs & spice chicken combo. Of the 4 side dishes, I don't recommend the japchae because it's too spicy.Noodles are also good when you're craving hot soup. You can order without tip and eat in the common area or To Go.“

“I AbSoLuTeLy LOVE Kum Yo's Okazuya! I can say how delectable each and every dish they serve is, because I have eaten them all! When you enter you can select items from their buffet line to create your own local style plate lunch. The mandoo are scrumptious, especially when dipping them into Kum Yo's homemade dipping sauce. Each day of the week she has set entrees in which you have multiple choices of freshly prepared veggies, cold tofu to limu.Fresh, hot onoliscious entrees and massive portions, yet very reasonably priced.Take out or dine in.Kum Yo's is my favorite Okazuya in Hilo!Love you folks and tell David I miss seeing him!Sorry there is no food left to photograph! I ate it before taking pics! My bad!“

“I wanted to see what all of the hype was about Korean corn dogs. Korean corn dogs have a batter that is made of rice flour and fried in hot oil, so they are very crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, like fried mochi. Some of them have little cubes of potato mixed into the batter so they are like crispy French fries on the outside.I was very excited to find out that "Corn Dogs by Mr. Cow" in Hilo has Korean corn dogs and wanted to try them while I have the opportunity. They were terrific! Very tasty! Not healthy, but definitely fun to experience Korean street food. You can get a sausage on the inside or mozzarella or cheddar cheese, or you can get half sausage, half cheese. We got one Mr. Cow Classic outside with half sausage, half cheddar inside, one Fried Potato outside with half sausage, half mozzarella inside, and one Flaming Potato with flaming Cheeto crumbs on the outside. We also got the cheese balls. Piggies! Highly recommend for a yummy Korean street food experience!“
