How anyone can give this place anything less than 5 stars is beyond me! This is the best shave ice I’ve ever had. The texture of the ice is soft and fluffy. The homemade syrups are delicious. You have to come try this place and get one of their combos with haupia cream!

Fantastic shave ice and açaí. They let you sub any $1 topping for honey. The granola is vegan. Shave ice is all vegan or veganizable, with coconut condensed milk, coconut ice cream, and whipped coconut cream (haupia).

Delicious! We love Hawaiian shaped ice, but don’t always love the fake syrups, Kula makes their own organic syrup and you could taste the difference! The coconut cream on the lava flow was also 👌
There was a little mixup / delay with our owner, and they were more than accommodating, truly friendly, above and beyond service!

After hiking the Akaka Falls Trail, we needed this amazing place. We have tried Shaved Ice on three Islands and Kula Shaved Ice was by far the best. My wife and I had the Hopa and our friend got the Local. Both were delicious and refreshing.

Food: We got the Kula Rainbow which is with mango, strawberry and blueberry syrup on top and vanilla ice cream as the filling. The blueberry syrup is on the sweet side and not a big fan but the rest is fantastic! Their vanilla ice cream is made from scratch as you can see vanilla seeds in it and it tastes very creamy!
Service: common and friendly
Ambiance: outdoor seating only. The whole deco is colorful and vivid. Be careful with sticky tables and benches though.
