Syrups and toppings are made from scratch. It tastes just like the actual fruits. Worth the extra money.
Pretty good, turned soupy at the end but that’s on me.
Visited Hilo and noticed the shave ice place we used to visit along the main street had gone so I found this place. Wow, the strawberry and lilikoi with condensed milk was delicious. Really good fruit not from a flavored syrup, and condensed milk was a decadent finish. I will definitely come back for more!
Best shaved ice on the east side or the whole island for that matter. So yummy.
I love this place. I saw it while at the farmers market and had to try it. I had the big island love and it was so yummy and refreshing in the heat. I was worried it would be too sweet but the lime flavor was tart and the coconut slightly sweet together with the condensed milk was such a good balance. The lady at the window was sweet as well. Great place to stop but if you visit the market.
Best shave ice in all Hawai’i. We live on Oahu, and nothing we’ve found comes close to how smooth, silky, and delicious this is to eat. Holy smokes, it’s amazing and we will recommend it to everyone visiting! Recommend the lilikoi and POG! Please add watermelon to your flavor line up!
I ordered a guava and lilikoi shaved ice with condensed milk on top and I was beyond thrilled with how amazing this shaved ice was. I appreciated the menu was clear and had tons of options for customers.
Shaved ice is amazing here. The lava flow for $13 is worth it
Best part of the farmers market!
POG shaved ice with fresh pineapple was the absolute best🍍
The shave ice here is simply overpriced. To put it in perspective: our lunch for 8 people at a local café (with 4,000+ reviews) cost $91 total, while we paid $96 here for shave ice. That price point is hard to justify.
Yes, they make it fresh—but so did the café. Adding $3 for a scoop of ice cream that may or may not be homemade is excessive. I even noticed a family with kids having to share a small one, which says a lot about affordability. A little economics lesson could help the owners find a balance between profitability and fairness.
I visit the Big Island often, and I’ll be heading up the road next time for $5 shave ice at the country market a few miles north.

My favourite shave ice on the island! The second time I went, I got the lilikoi dreamsicle with half the seasonal flavour: ‘uala. Oh my gosh, it was heavenly. Now I’m going to dream about this place until I get to return. 💜
Super delicious! I got 2 flavors plus a snow cap and macadamia nut ice cream and it was amazing. Service took about 5 minutes and staff was friendly.
so delicious!
How anyone can give this place anything less than 5 stars is beyond me! This is the best shave ice I’ve ever had. The texture of the ice is soft and fluffy. The homemade syrups are delicious. You have to come try this place and get one of their combos with haupia cream!
Simply the best
