This was the best shaved ice that I had on my vacation. Yes it's kind of pricey but totally worth it! Just make sure you order a good flavor. I got half strawberry and blueberry with the haupia cream (coconut whipped cream) on top which was definitely the star of the show. I could eat a whole bowl of that by itself!!! My husband got the coconut flavor with chocolate shell topping. He said the coconut flavor didn't really have much flavor would definitely not recommend that flavor.

Ordered the shaved ice with Mochi and vegan ice cream. Ice cream portion was small scoop in bottom of shaved ice. Flavours were too sweet for my liking, got both matcha and vanilla bean. Also expensive, service was nice and quick.

After driving around in the rain, we dropped into Hilo and lucked out with parking. I purchased a keiki-sized shave ice for myself because I didn't want to overeat. The portions (keiki and adult) are both pretty substantial so if you want to be satisfied but not overfull, I would get the keiki size. I chose the chocolate syrup with chocolate shell and chocolate ice cream underneath. It was delicious and once it started to melt I mixed it together because I'm a monster like that. Everyone else with me all had fruit flavors and toppings and really enjoyed them. They also have a decent bathroom so that's a plus.
They take shave ice to the next level. I don't live on Big Island, so I fantasize about their shave ice often! It's my fave spot. Mostly homemade organic syrups, made from fresh fruit. My go to is with lilikoi, with fresh coconut cream on top, and poi on the bottom! It's like a sweet healthy meal. The best!

Got a coffee and matcha here after a morning spent shopping at the Hilo Farmers Market. It was a perfect refresher at a reasonable cost. The sever was very friendly and it only took a couple minutes for our order to be ready.

Ridiculously good. My partner and I shared a regular guava and liliquoi with vegan coconut ice cream, mochi and haupia coconut cream. We’ve had a few on the island at this point, and this was hands down the best shave ice so far. Good portion, perfect mochi, the haupia was outstanding. Ice cream was great too, but we’d probably skip that next time to save cost and eat more of the other stuff ?
