My husband and I love love love eating here after a hard workout. The food is fresh, homemade, healthy and just down right Delicious. My husband orders the Lemongrass Chicken Ba’nh-mi and I get the Vegetarian. The owner is sooooo nice. She comes over to our table and tells us that she grows the fresh herbs in her garden, and that goes on top of the sandwiches. We’re so glad we found this little gem in Hilo💕💕💕

We decided to try their spring rolls after watching a food video on YouTube. It was the best decision made. The spring rolls were the best we've ever had, crispy on the outside with very tasty ingredients on the inside. I think it was the taro that made the difference. They were so good that we re-ordered. We also tried the Bahn mi sandwiches and they were also delicious. The owner came out to greet us and we ended up having a very nice conversation. She was really friendly and cute. If you're on the Big Island, it's definitely worth it to try out this place. You won't regret it.

Cute food truck in a gravel lot with four or five other vendors. Cash only—but there is a gas station down the street with an ATM. Menu is small, but that doesn’t matter because it is all great! My husband and I agreed that this was the best bahn mi we’d ever had. The bread was crunch but soft, so you’re not destroying the roof of your mouth. We ordered ours spicy and the pickled jalapeños were perfect. It was a reasonable size for a human to eat—-not a massive gut bomb that so many people seem to think is a good idea. We got ours and took it to the beach and it held up great for the hour or so before we ate. Wish we had time to go again before we leave the island!

Authentic Vietnamese food at this great local food truck. My favorite is bahn mi sandwich with pate. The owner and her helper are always pleasant. I like ordering the food, picking it up and then going to sit in Queen Liliukalani park to eat.
I got a pork lemongrass banh mi for $10. I've never had banh mi before so I can't do a comparison to other ones available on island, but it was delicious! If you do drop by, they only accept cash so come prepared!

Oh wow, what wonderful food. The bahn-mi was wonderful, I had the bún salad and it was fabulous. I've been chasing the dragon of really great Vietnamese bún for a long time and this delivered bigtime. Go give it a shot and don't be afraid to ask for spicy.
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian versions of their bahn-mi and bún salads. They even asked about mayo, so they do care that your food will be strictly vegetarian if you so desire.
This was one of the friendliest food trucks I’ve ever visited, and the food was excellent! My wife got a truly tasty banh mi, and my pork noodle dish was exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend!
