Great for breakfast. Open 24 hours. Reasonable pricing. Restaurant is clean and drivers are attentive and friendly. Only drawback here is the place attracts the homeless. Not all are bad but there are some very loud people at times that could disrupt your visit. Staff is attentive with them

Food quality was exceptional, aside from an encounter with a panhandler asking patrons to buy them food or a drink, particularly Dr Pepper. Service and overall experience were commendable.

This place is one of those McDonald's that are well run. Food never seems like it was sitting around, they don't usually take too long, never seems messy or dirty, staff is friendly enough, bathroom always sanitary, staff stays busy, blah, blah, blah. For some reason I just like this one over others around, and it's right in downtown Hilo.
