The food was good, certainly not the best we have ever had but not the worst. Serving size is smaller so if you're really starving or have a big appetite go somewhere else.
The service was atrocious! The young man was confused about the menu, disorganized, inattentive, and absolutely terrible providing service. Had to be asked to take a drink order. Never refreshed our drinks, drink slowly because if he is on that is the last you will get. Brought our meals out at different...
Came in for the first time even though I've worked across the street for years. I have no idea why I didn't come sooner! Ordered the Fish Pupu with Mahi and tartar sauce. Wish I got the full basket because this is delicious.
Fresh fish, moist and flakey meat with a crispy crust. Tartar sauce has a pickle flavor that normally I would avoid if they had told me upfront, but I really like it with the fish.

Best fish restaurant we found in Hilo. We had fish, shrimp, and scallops with different sauces. All fresh and delicious. The staff very friendly, quick service. We got ours to go for a picnic at a beach.
