Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review, and I hate doing that.

I ordered the chicken pad thai at their spiciest level.
My girlfriend ordered the panang curry.

Our waitress genuinely seemed annoyed to have to be dealing with our table.
That part isn't what irked me.

The drinks were awesome (Thai iced tea)

On to the complaints.... I ordered the spiciest option they had for the pad Thai. The food they brought me had *literally* zero spice. None. It's like they forgot to add chilis or something. I'm not trying to exaggerate, but this pad Thai was the blandest I have ever had. My spice-hating girlfriend even tried it and was shocked.
I asked the waitress if they had any hot sauce that I could hopefully add to it because I wanted a super spicy pad Thai.
She brought me a small cup of hot sauce and I immediately dumped it all in, which seemed to annoy her. The lil cup of hot sauce still wasn't enough. Back when this place was called Sombats they didn't mess around with spiciness. Perhaps I should take some blame assuming they would be similar, but dude this food was the furthest thing from spicy. It's like if a Midwestern grandma made pad Thai for the first time.

My gf's panang curry only suffered a few tiny bites because the meat smelled and tasted off. Our chickens didn't even touch the leftover beef.
Not a good sign for a new restaurant.

I've worked in the restaurant biz, I know just how hard it actually is, and therefore I hate to leave negative reviews. But I had to this time.
Will NOT be returning

I was so excited to finally get to try this newer spot, and was very satisfied with the experience overall!

It has a really beautiful interior design, with a great mural, decadent tablecloths, and comfortable chairs.

Our server was approachable, friendly and helpful. I loved that the water offered was lightly and perfectly infused with citrus and maybe other fresh flavors.

As far as the food I can say hands down they have the best fresh fried spring rolls in town. They are soooo light and flaky crispy with the perfect amount of all ingredients. Other than that I highly recommend the spicy noodle dish, it is a huge serving of noodles and veggies where everything is cooked perfectly.

We asked for medium heat and it was still very very mild. I understand they are probably playing it safe, but we just asked for a side of chili sauce that we spread over the noodles and they were divine.

Went around happy hour and it was relatively empty, so we got super prompt service, fresh food and didn’t feel rushed or crowded at all.

I like the curries at some other Thai places in town, but this is the place to go for spring rolls and noodle dishes for sure!

Go check it out and support them!

I ordered the $18 chiang mai fried rice with beef and it was very disappointing. The rice was super mushy and the beef was full of gristle. My wife ordered spicy noodles and had them add mushrooms for extra charge, we got home and they charged us but never put mushrooms in the dish. My wife said her spicy noodles were good other than missing the mushrooms. We were really hoping it would be as good as Sombats (the restaurant that was there before they recently moved in) but it wasn’t even close! I was super bummed, really hoped it would be better for the money they charge.

Absolutely fantastic food. The restaurant is small but tastefully decorated. If we have time, we will definitely be back. Don't hesitate to stop here if you like Thai food. Did I mention the huge portions? We had coconut soup, pad Thai, and papaya salad. Enough for two meals for two people. Delicious!
