I have been going to Panchos for years and I am so glad they are in Hilo. The owners are very kind people who take care of their customers. They always show Aloha to other vendors and make room for them to sell alongside.
We came from central Florida a community called Wahneta. Many immigrants call it home because the Mexican migrants who pick everyone's food, have come here for a Century now. But any way, they have the absolute best tasting, most authentic Real Mexican cuisine on our island. From the soft homemade warm tortillas, 2 per taco, wrapping marinated chicken, seasoned beef or pork and more. Did I tell you that they have more than Tacos to. Also a good value for a gastronomic treat.

Wonderful food & wonderful people making it.Dietary restrictions: I have Celiac disease. The only thing that I get is the nachos. To avoid cross contamination. If it's a huge plate and so good. I've never had any trouble. Once my order got mixed up & I received tacos. I drive all the way home, realized, and drove back. They replaced the tacos with nachos without any worries.

Big menu everything looks delicious, hard to choose. Nice vegetarian and vegan selections, always appreciate that! Long line so go early, but once your order is placed, only about 5-10 minute wait. It's in a parking lot, hot, with a small canopy cover to wait after ordering. Very good and satisfying lunch!!
