The several times that I’ve come here the drive thru is closed with cones blocking off the entrance… No other food place in Hilo does this expect for this Panda location, beware! I automatically go somewhere else whenever this happens. I would spend an easy $60+ each time I visit, it’s easier for me to carry the food and wrangle my kids in the drive thru… I’m definitely not going to come back here anymore until this stop this nonsense. Would highly recommended you go somewhere else if your wanting to use the drive thru.

If you’re doing drive thru, I would highly recommend not going to this location. Two times in a row we were asked to pull into a stall in the front of the restaurant to wait for our order.
First time we waited 20 minutes, until my spouse went in to inquire about our order (our one year old was extremely fussy while we were waiting in the car) only to learn that they totally forgot about us and didn’t know we were waiting for our order.
Second time we were waiting almost 10 minutes, again my spouse went in only for the same situation to happen.
They ask you to pull up in the front so they can tend to the people who are in the restaurant, but they completely forget about the orders they ask to wait in the front from the drive thru.
They need to be more organized. Have a person designated for the orders that are asked to pull over and wait. Put up signs in stalls for the ones they ask to wait from drive thru.
Go to the downtown location, I’ve never had an issue there.

Worst experience ever ! My order was not found after receiving an sms that the order was ready. Had to get my phone since the person, was not able to find my order at all. Then I was told my order could not be completed because there was not enough Sesame Chicken. After complaining to the Manager, I was told the order was handed over to the wrong person. Order Nr. 33262812352643073, end of the story : Chow Mein was not even tasty

Love the eggplant tofu and super greens. Wish they would bring back the Beyond Orange Chik'n, it was an amazing vegan meal, they sold out many days. Panda Express needs to add it to the permanent menu!

Update to decrease stars given. Went thru drive thru and the lady with the Asian accent owed me 5 cents change, she wasn't going to give it but times are hard, so I had to tell her she owed me 5 cents. Suddenly she got mad! and finally mustered change, she gives me a quarter and says HERE! oh wow. Sorry ah but a nickle is a nickle. Somehow the food didn't taste as good and the atmosphere sucked today.
Can't go wrong with Panda Express. In Hilo they have a drive thru but no chow fun on the menu. Price for 2 choice plate I noticed cost a little more.
