Stopped at Papa'a Palaoa bakery this morning. Ended up buying a loaf of deli rye bread, mint chocolate chip cookies and a slice of coconut cream pie. All were delicious! Sights and smells inside brought back memories of working in my father's bakery 60 years ago.

I'll be back weekly to sample everything!

If you are looking for a cinnamon roll serving as a full meal, this is your place to go! Hands down one of the best cinnamon rolls I ever had
- there’s not a spot that is not covered in cinnamon. The bakery itself is super cute and offers a good variety of sweet and savory goods, even (discounted) items from the previous day. Highly recommended!

Delicious fresh baked bread. It’s a bit pricey but so worth it. They’ll offer to slice the loaf for you if you want. The sweet treats are so good they’re out of this world. I’ve always had pleasant interactions with the staff. Even when they’re busy they have time for a friendly greeting and a smile.
The shop is tiny. No seating, just a counter where you buy your baked goods to take out.
There’s street parking, and a small parking lot just beyond...
