This place was such a great find on a rainy day! We ordered a pho and shrimp spring roll noodle -- both were delicious and tasted authentic.
The owner was also so considerate; he gave us a list of Big Island recommendations and noted the ones that would be great to bring our 2yo to! He also gave the kids balloons, which are always a hit. We'd definitely come back next time we're in the area.

Theres so many small Vietnamese and thai restaurants in Hilo. I've tried 4, 3 of them were mediocre at best, this one was by far the best for pho and banh mi. Excellent preparation and flavor, the owner and his wife are very friendly. I've eaten here 5x and its always been great.

Our first time visiting Hilo! We crave for Asian food. After searching google recommend us this restaurant. We ordered beef meatballs Pho, Grilled shrimp and egg rolls vermicelli bowl, and shrimp papaya salad to go. The food is tasty. We will be back for another meal.

Best pho on the Big Island! My partner and I stopped here on a Wednesday after the market and had such a fantastic bowl of pho (I got the beef pho). The service is great at this locally owned restaurant. The owner even gave us his personal recommendations for places to go during our stay.

I love my Vietnamese food and can tell when it's not up to par but this little small Vietnamese restaurant certainly delivered. Excellent broth for their PHO and great vermicelli with beef and spring rolls.
The atmosphere reminded me of a typical old school Vietnamese restaurant which was very nostalgic to me.
The pho is pretty good for the island. There was a miscommunication in our order and instead of correcting it, the host/waiter proceeded to argue that we didn’t place the order, we attempted to place the order again and he still argued that we never placed the order. The pho itself was good, service not so much.

Authentic Vietnamese food!
It’s definitely a hole in the wall type of place but the food is incredible and the owners are super sweet. It’s run by a man and his wife. She does the cooking and he runs the front end. When you walk in, grab a menu, and then sit down. They have only a few tables but they get everyone fed and served quickly.
The food is top notch. Some of the best pho I’ve had. We have tons of Vietnamese restaurants in my home town and this was definitely one of the best I’ve had.
