Some of Best fresh fish and seafood on Big Island. Reservations are recommended but they will get you in if you just show up. My husband loves their wahoo (Ono) fish and I had the lemon mac chicken: it was not as flavorful and it seems they were using colder or old oil that day we went because the food was greasy and it usually is not. The fries were also refried and we could not eat them. The drinks were amazing and our server was phenomenal!

Our drinks were not only very tasty and balanced but also beautiful! The food was cooked perfectly and well curated. Our server Barbara was amazing and probably one of the nicest waitresses we had our entire week in Hawaii! We would have loved to go back a 2nd day but time did not permit.

The food took an extremely long time to arrive and when it did, only half of our table received food. The other half had to wait even longer. There was about a 15-20 minute time lapse from when the first person received food until the last (for a table of 5). The food lacked any flavor and tasted as if it was all pre frozen and microwaved. My curry was somehow very hot and also had no flavor. Everything we had tasted like cardboard. I’m sad we wasted a meal going to Pineapples.

Easily the best restaurants on the island. Complex enough to wow your taste buds but local enough not to kill your wallet! The is really fresh and delicious! The customer service is top-notch. Jontae is the man! Amazing service. Smooth operator with island vibes. I've been to the big island many times, and this place is always a must no matter how much time I have. Hilo is worth coming to on its own, even for a day trip. But pineapples island fresh cuisine on its own makes visiting the big island worth the trip.
