They do good Boba style teas. They have a good selection of asian snack food, but not as much actual tea. I am not sure why, but they also sell crystals.

Always satisfied with my drinks whenever I visit. Fast service and there's lots of goodies and treats up for sale around the store, you'll most likely come out of there with more than just boba!

Cute place, friendly workers, decent selection of drinks and snacks. I go for their freeze dried candy. Have tried a couple drinks, and they were just alright. Not too sweet, but just not a big fan of the flavor and boba itself. If I’m thirsty and it’s convenient I may get a drink here, otherwise I would go elsewhere for boba.

Tea Time Hawaii is a hidden gem located on the bottom floor of a two-story office building. This cute spot is a haven for boba, tea, and coffee enthusiasts, and it offers a delightful surprise with its range of imported specialty snacks and collection of crystals.During my recent visit, I couldn't resist trying their irresistible $2 coffee special. The option to customize the drink with various milk and syrup choices was a pleasant surprise. Opting for organic almond milk and the salted caramel syrup, I was treated to a refreshing iced coffee that struck the perfect balance between flavors and wasn't overly sweet. My taste adventure continued with the matcha tea milk bubble tea. The careful balance between the rich matcha and creamy milk made it a truly indulgent treat. I can't wait to try some of the other selections on their drink menu! While the drinks were undoubtedly the stars of the show, Tea Time Hawaii's charming store layout beckons exploration. Their thoughtfully curated collection of cute gifts, plushies, and imported snacks added an element of fun. It's a treasure trove of unique finds that truly set this place apart. The back of the store boasts an extensive inventory of crystals, providing a serene space for those interested in crystals and their energies. The variety and reasonable pricing made it hard to leave without a new addition to your collection.Beyond the flavors and offerings, the staff at Tea Time Hawaii were warm and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to share recommendations and insights enhanced the visit. In summary, Tea Time Hawaii is a must-visit for anyone seeking a delightful blend of flavors and unique trinkets.. Whether you're a boba aficionado, a tea lover, or a crystal enthusiast, this place has something truly special to offer. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, and I can't wait to explore more of their menu and treasures. If you find yourself on the Big Island, don't miss the chance to explore Tea Time Hawaii.

This place is like heaven for me, my 3 most favorite things in one shop: hello kitty and everything kawaii, crystals and everything spiritual, and boba tea!!

I'll start by saying this is only the second time in my life I've gone to a boba tea place, so my opinion isn't that of a regular boba drinker. I was out in town running errands and was looking for an open bakery, which on Sunday in Hilo apparently isn't possible. Anyway, saw this place was open so decided to try it out. I was a bit overwhelmed by the selection and options, so decided to try one of their pictured specials. I think subconsciously because it's summer, I decided to try the s'mores drink. They offered a lot of options (though they were out of boba, a bit unexpected). I went without jelly or whatever the other additive was, but went with the whipped cream and 1% milk. I must say, it was a tasty drink. Very sweet, not something I'd get all the time. It was basically a dessert milk shake. I'll definitely go there again with my husband and kids, but it's definitely a special occasion thing. Not sure how people are able to drink those all the time, and also not sure how other reviewers could call those drinks not sweet or watered down. Perhaps it was less sweet than normal boba teas, but I wouldn't know and honestly if it were any sweeter, I'd have felt sick. The price was a bit high, but again, perhaps that's typical.

This place is so good! The blended match green tea with coconut milk was by far the best drink I had ever had. The consistency was just perfect. I got a 16oz, and it was a good portion of the amount for me. The goodies and other items in the store are very reasonable and everything so far we tasted was good.We also got to taste their new dry freeze airhead. It's very sugary but tasteful!I don't have EBT but they do except it. If your into shakra stuff like crystals ? they have a variety with very decent prices.Go check them out!!!

Tea Time Hawaii is a shop with a delightful premise and an excellent selection of local teas and honeys, paired with a charming crystal shop. The staff was friendly and quick, which is a huge plus as well. The boba tea, however, was…remarkably disappointing. As a former tea ambassador and long-time hobbyist, brewer, and reviewer of bubble tea, my tea experience here was one of the worst that I’ve had to date…until today, I don’t think I’ve ever failed to finish a drink.I ordered a Kona Mango tea with mango purée and large boba. The tea itself from what I can tell was from Oribe Teas, which makes an excellent local product in my experience. The tea I received today, however, was watered down to the point of flavorlessness, before the ice had even melted. The mango purée, while strong in concept, was weak in flavor. There was a lack of sweetness and astringency that makes me think there just wasn’t enough mixed in…or perhaps the purée was watered down.As for the pearls themselves, they were hard, a bit undercooked, and unsweetened, making for a sort of tough, watery and bland experience that I associate with the “quick cook pearls” you can find at the supermarket. Even those pearls, when properly boiled and rested, can be superior to the ones served today. To the folks at Tea Time Hawaii, I see that you have a very receptive owner that responds to reviews here. I hope this feedback is met as constructive, and I hope you are able to make some improvements to your protocol. I think that adding customizable levels of sweetness and ice to your drink menu would help quite a bit. It’s also important when preparing your teas that you use as little ice as possible to avoid watering them down, or to up the ratio of tea leaves to water when you steep in large batches. I’d be happy to talk story about tea prep sometime if that’s something you’d like, and I am open to revisiting your establishment in the future to give it another chance.

Tea Time Hawaii was a gem of a find! Went in for a tea, came out with some neat tea-related gifts for family and a cool cold-brew for me to make at home. If you're in Hilo, check it out!
