We stumbled across The Booch Bar on Valentine's Day, and luckily they let us sit at the bar. They had a special three-course menu that night with a great live singer. The food was outstanding and the vibes were perfect.

Very disappointed with the service. The gentleman was friendly and polite while we were actively paying customers, but once we closed our tab, his attitude changed entirely. When we asked for a couple of glasses of ice, he immediately said he was closed. Customer service should not end the moment the bill is paid.

They wouldn’t give us a cup of ice because they were “closed” even though people were there still eating . This was after spending $43 on three shots - the bar tender was rude. Wouldn’t recommend when there are other businesses in area who would treat you treat you better

Ordered some burgers to go, medium rare, no one greeted me when I arrived. The burgers presentation was good but they were cooked too much overly done/ dry and cost too much for what they are offering. The staff never checked to see if everything was all right. I’m sure the kombucha Is good, but the staff seemed more concerned with chatting with each other than their service.

Edit after 8 months: moved to 3.2 from 2.
I wanted to add an edit: it took months after this review to truly see a change here and I believe it’s because one singular person isn’t there anymore; at least from what we see. The one employee that we had the most issues with hasn’t been seen in months and when I say the vibe there, is getting better. I mean it. There’s still room for improvement tho. I moved my review to 3.2 but Booch really needs to put a focus on customer service training for everyone. Smiling doesn’t hurt.
I really wanted to leave a better review here but I unfortunately don’t have one. While the food is *mostly* consistent and good, the customer service is absolute trash. I have been eating here for years. I have taken all my gf and vegan clients here and house guests when they come. I’ve always been so kind and say hello and goodbye, tip big, compliment them, thank them, and to this day, not one single person has ever smiled back at me. A smile. A simple smile. The last straw was- A few days ago we went in to eat and the gal at the front was talking to a man in front of us, she was all happy and nice to him and THE MOMENT we all stepped forward to order she glared at us. I again, as usual, smiled at her and asked how her day was and she straight up stared at me straight in my face and glared… she never even answered. And she just stared at me till we started ordering. We ordered as usual and received our food and then could hear girls in the back gossiping about the customers. It was absolutely appalling and made me incredibly uncomfortable. I am sick of coming here and being treated like this. I’m sick of the behaviors of the staff. Other folks in the community have mentioned it as well but I was hoping that by showing gratitude I wouldn’t have to deal with it every time. How hard is it to smile and pass a little aloha and customer service out to your customers? Why is this continually ignored? Why do they continue to be like this? Anyway, food -4 stars. Service, Attitude and behavior of staff -0 Do better, Booch.

Vegan food is very tasty. Kombuchas are awesome! We had the vegan street tacos, bibimbap, flower kombucha, Almond cacao brownie. Just be careful if you have nut allergy since its cashew cheese.
