Ugly eye sore next to Hilo Hawaiian that needs to be torn down. It is sad how some properties around this Bay Area are closed, falling aport, or no longer used as hotels.

right near hotel, great ice cream choices and small items for travel.. Easy walk from Hilton with lots of snack items. reasonable

Local store just like a 7-11, located near the Hilton DoubleTree. Not cheap but convenient, sell all the usual general store stuff, along with a range of sandwiches, boiled eggs and freshly packed salads. There are chairs and tables outside to watching the world go by while having breakfast or coffee, we did not try the food, just bought some very high-priced alcohol. TIP: This is not cheaper than driving into Hilo for supplies, but if you are staying at the Hilton who cares.

It was nice but being that it is right next to the Grand Naniloa hotel it seemed to simple and downgraded. A few more pics and maybe a new color scheme could really make a difference..
