Nothing fancy, but come for the great food and service. The different kinds of boneless fried chicken are really good. The Korean flavor was my favorite. And the french fries are terrific.

This is my favorite restaurant in Hilo! Family owned business, and the owner is also the chef. They offer homestyle cooking with locally sourced ingredients. They make an amazing salad with local greens! The White Guava Café has many local favorites, and something for everyone. They offer different sizes of servings so you can order just the right amount. My favorite is their fried tofu!Vegetarian options: Fried tofu, as I said, in my review. I also love their coconut, vegan curry
For Hawaii, the food prices were reasonable and the serving portions were large. We only finished half of our meals and took the rest to go. The lilipoi dressing is delicious! They need to bottle and sell it. The lilipoi Bellini was delicious and a bargain at $7. Already planning to return. The poor waitress was working alone and doing her best. She was incredibly sweet. Hopefully this is a one off and usually there are more wait staff.Kid-friendliness: There’s a kid are in the corner.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp to the entrance that’s wheel chair friendly.
Plates are filled to the brim.Vegetarian options: The curry soup was delicious!Kid-friendliness: They have a paper children's menu to color. They don't use disposable cups for kids but use reusable ones.

I would have left a 5 star review except that they were out of so many items that it made it hard to order. But the food we got was really good!Vegetarian options: Half of the vegetarian options weren’t available and our group of 18 is mostly vegetarian.

The worst service in the Big Island. They don’t care about their customers. Their food is good not the greatest but because of the bad service and attitude it’s not worth coming for the food.

A beautiful, family owned gem. My favorites are the big, fresh salads, the spicy Korean chicken and the burgers. The owner is also the chef and puts a lot of love into every meal. Friendly, attentive staff. Several vegetarian/vegan options too! Definitely a go-to for meals several days a week!
