My husband and I have been enjoying Tongs cooking since they opened in 2005. Yen’s is our go to spot and I can recommend every dish on the menu. My favorite dish is the cold vermicelli salad with spring rolls and chicken.

This place is so GOOD! The food is so authentic, and flavorful. And the staff Amy and Richie are so cool. They also grow and sell some of their own fruits. Definitely recommend this place!!

Just stopped by to order a quick lunch and was so pleasantly surprised with our food. Chicken ginger lemongrass plate and spicy chicken rice plate. Both came with a very tasty side salad. So much flavor for lunch. I also order a fresh sugar cane. Will definitely be back to try the Pho.

We love take out lunch from Yen's. Our go to is the cold noodles with shrimp and tofu (with extra shrimp) and an order of eggrolls. Fresh, clean, cool, delicious and enough food for two. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Best Chinese food I’ve found in Hilo, but that’s not saying much. The food was good but not great. Service was lacking.

Get in line early for this tiny spot. Even with that, you may get elbowed out of the way by the Asian "ladies who lunch" here on a regular basis.
