12th Ave is my favorite restaurant! So bummed that they are closing so we had to dine there at least one last time. The food and service are always amazing. Mac and cheese is the best! The rib-eye was cooked perfectly, medium rare plus! Wishing the owners all the best and looking forward to see them at their next endeavor!
I love this restaurant so much I save it for every special occasion. Staff is so cool and give it the best experience consistently every time!
This review won't help anyone because 12th Avenue serves its last meal on Sunday. Nonetheless, we wanted to send one lat mahalo for many jobs well done and well-served. We will sorely miss you. Aloha nui loa,
We had to go one last time because it's 12th's last hurrah. Gonna miss this place - such a great option if you want great comfort food, friendly & attentive service, really terrific libations! Thank you everyone at 12th Avenue Grill!
We thoroughly enjoyed our final meal at 12th Avenue Grill as they are closing their doors and ending an era of fantastic food and excellent service. Thank you for the lovely memories we have gathered over the years.
We are very sad to see 12th Ave close and leave our neighborhood. Where do we go now for quality local gourmet comfort food? Please return (even in a new concept) once covid is over and we will be here for you!
Not up to usual standards of service but in fairness, they are closing this weekend and were short on items (wine glasses, featured wine of the day). Am sad to see them go.
Looked so forward to returning to 12 th Ave Grill. Service was great albeit a hiccup of being served food but not cutlery. One meal was excellent. The second was a touch dry. The ordered bottle of wine was acidic in taste and we wouldn't drink it. Mgmt suggested we cap it and take it home and order glasses of another wine at full cost to us! It is not a wonder that the place was only half full of patrons.
We sat at the bar and had excellent service. The food was much better than I expected from looking at the place on the outside. I was even impressed with the inside and decor. I'm very happy I have this restaurant a shot. I'll definitely be back.
Great food and great wine. Loved the farm to table quality of the food. It was similar to California cuisine but with distinctive Hawaiian characteristics. Fantastic wine list. Great, courteous service. Worth the short drive from Waikiki.

They have the best Gnocchi in the world . It is served with meatballs.Second they have great first courses. Lastly, the people who work here are very nice.
Seated inside because it was chilly and rainy. Our table was distanced appropriately from other diners, near the bar which had no customers seated. Service was very good, friendly, and helpful. Mixed salad was very good and enough to share. I ordered gnocchi with meatballs, trumpet mushrooms, and sauce. Delicious. Partner ordered lamb burger with regular fries. Everything very tasty; bun a bit bulky but tasty too. Wine was good. Ordered Bombay Sapphire gin martini also well made but I wanted a few more London dry choices. Overall very nice experience. One salad, 2 entrees, 2 glasses of wine, 1 martini cost about $120 including tax and tip. Worth repeating.
We were regulars before the pandemic. Christmas Eve was our first time back. Everything went really smoothly with the reservation and check-in. I had the pan seared marlin and my partner the rib-eye and frites. We felt comfortable being back in the restaurant, everything was great. We have another reservation in a few days.
Everything is delicious and the staff is well-trained and attentive. Everything from prime rib to the tako tentacle to gnocchi to mashed bread fruit (instead of potatoes) to mango cheesecake bread pudding; it's all super delicious. My son even went for the Beef Wellington special and it was executed marvelously. Plus, our compliments to whoever is choosing the wines and the weekly wine specials - everything we tried over two outings was very, very good. Excellent!
My husband had the ribeye and said it was the best he ever had. It was done exactly as he asked. I had the fresh catch special, and it was divine. (I wish I could duplicate the delicious sauce.) Mango cheesecake bread pudding for dessert was to die for. Service was excellent and friendly. We would go back on a heartbeat.
