808 Meal Prep

Amy and 808 Meal Prep catered both our rehearsal dinner and wedding back in April and did a phenomenal job. Amy was incredibly responsive from the day I inquired about her services and leading up to the wedding. She was able to cater, make our wedding cake, provide bar services, linens, and plates/ silverware (I’m sure she could do more - she was truly a one stop shop)! The food was amazing and she was so wonderful to work with!! All of our guests were obsessed with the ahi tuna poke nachos. Thank you so much, Amy! You and your team outdid yourselves and made it so easy to plan our destination wedding!

Yikes....the quality of this place has gone off a STEEP cliff from the first time I ordered from them. The steak and chicken were HAMMERED. As in, the steak was shoe leather and the chicken was so overcooked that I had to douse it in BBQ sauce. Same with the purple potatoes. They shouldn't be cooked to the point that they're dry and crunchy. Lastly, they screwed up my order and did not offer a solution when we pointed it out (we canceled 3 meals since the order we placed could not be picked up for an additional 4 days). The worker told my wife, "you might as well take them since they're already cooked." We had previously been in contact with the owner to get a refund for the canceled meals. That was, obviously, not communicated. Please look elsewhere if you're looking for a meal prep solution because this is definitely not it. If I could give zero stars, I would. 808 Meal Prep, please do better.

I enjoy 808 Meal Prep. The flavors are amazing and the food is filling. I appreciate the ease of picking up the food and the ability to just heat and eat.

Quality control is really lacking. The meals are fairly tasty but I order similar items each week and each week it is really different. Sometimes sauces are left out. This week the banana chocolate chip muffins weren't even in a cupcake wrapper! This company seems to be expanding but if there were a more professional, slightly pricier option on island, I'd switch.

Ordered from here and never got my food after two days. I ordered my food on Saturday and was told it was ready Sunday afternoon. I communicated ahead of time that I would need to pick up the following day due to my schedule which they said it was fine. After agreeing on a time in the morning for Monday I thought all was good . Turns out when I went to pick up the food on Monday the place was closed down and after making many calls without a response I left and sent a message to get back to me. All of Monday went by and I did not receive a call or message.In retrospect, the place I went to pick up the food didn’t seem very organized and seemed out of business.I would not recommend using this service as of right now. I feel like I got scammed out of $160.I will edit this review if I ever get my food or a refund.

This is my one week review. Great customer service and they have delivered my food promptly. My only concerns/suggestions are this:1) Delivery on my bill was $20 while the person I talked to on their Instagram said it was $15.2) I feel that the standard portions could but a bigger in order to achieve 30g of protein for all ready made meals and not just a select portion of them.3) I wish some meals from the meal prep kits were available in the real made meals without it being premium.4) Going off of the previous note, I feel some of the premium meals should be available on standard.Other than these things, 808mealprep has been on top of things and is really the only meal prep company on the island with affordable prices.

I cannot express how wonderful this company is! The service and communication is top notch. The food is absolutely delicious and on top healthy! I have used them for complex events and all went better than I could even hope for. Truly truly recommend for anyone who wants to meal prep or if they want to cater yammy food to an event! Amy will make sure its a success :)

Ordered 6 meals. Tastes ok. But found hair in two meals :( Food was left at my apartment door around 10pm and no one notified me. So I found food in the morning around 10am. Food was sitting there for 12 hours. Unprofessional and careless. I do not recommend this prep meal service.
