The best little bakery around! I am from CA and was very excited to find one here on island. The multi grain loqves are my absolute favorite. Not too sweet but filling and delicious! If you like strong coffee Vietnamese coffee is the way to go! I've had the smoothies but they were a bit too sweet for me. Everything is absolutely delicious though!

I had no idea this bakery opened up and told my sister in Cali we don't have one. Well my friend told me we did indeed, and I was overjoyed to venture here after lunch. It's located in a previous restaurant/bar (Pearl) which threw me off. They didn't have the cake my sister brought when I visited in Cali (all chocolate, super rich with cream cheese frosting) but I did try their mango pastry. It was so light and fluffy, fluffier than pound cake but denser than angel food cake. I also ordered a matcha one for the kid. There was tons of space to sit and eat which I might do one day. This is def a must if you want a sweet treat or just take a break from shopping. My item was not overly sweet which I love.

Seemingly always busy. We've tried their sweets. Scrumptious and not too sweet!

Love this 85C in Ala Moana (3rd level). Drinks are always good, I like the salted coffee with quarter sugar, comes with a slightly salted foam on top and you can get it hot or iced. The breads rotate and are all so delicious! Our standard faves are the cheese hotdog bread, the taro bun, the twisted ube, and the mochi egg tart! Service is fast and polite.

So many savory and sweet delicacies!! Also many great tasting drinks! Great bakery/café! Friendly and informative staff! If you want the egg tarts, go early! I didn’t go early enough and it was 11:30ish when I arrived! If you’re coming from the other mall side, go down the escalator by the Italian Macaroni restaurant, it was hard to find at first, but I found it!

We frequently support this bakery, but today, seemed a little behind in getting products out on the shelves. I purchased a whole cake & then waited for pastry items to get put out on the shelves. One associate , named GLORIA, was refilling the shelves & noticed we rushed over to see the pastry items she was putting out. She asked us what we were looking for, asked how many we needed, and told us she’ll go put the creme in and bring it out to us! She was so, so nice to notice and ask us what we were looking for! 85•C Bakery is fortunate to have a conscientious employee like Gloria! Mahalo!

I love this Taiwanese bakery. The pastries and cakes are not excessively sweet and the prices of their drinks are less than other boba places around island. I like how they change up the pastries too with savory and sweet options. They have a special going on now if you're an app member. $1 cake slice if you buy any milk tea, what a deal! I had the macchiato cream cake with my milk tea which was so yummy. I ordered the milk tea before and found it too sweet but remembered this time around that you can request less sugar. There's seating inside which is usually fun but it's located at Aka Moana mall so there's plenty of places to find a place to sit. Folks at the counter are always nice.

Their chocolate fudge cookies have cinnamon Flavor in it. I've never had a chocolate fudge with the cinnamon flavor. I really didn't like that cookies.

The whole place is pretty empty on Sunday night, just before closing time. Not crowded, but much left to buy.

Visited 85c Bakery at Ala Moana....purchased white bread, mochi tart and anpan. I made grilled cheese with the bread, which came out really good. The bread had a nice texture....will definitely get it again. We also visited, last nite, to take advantage of the valentines special. I ordered the iced Thai coffee and received a free pastry ( I again ordered the anpan, since selection was limited. We went after dinner . But, still not disappointed, enjoyed both. Will visit again. Unlike Brug Bakery, 85c Bakery has fresh bread. Brug, doesn't have bread till after 10....a bit late for me. One thing Brug has is a senior discount day....perhaps 85c will consider offering this .

There’s so many bakeries like this in NY but they are not good at all. But this place has Amazing mochi egg tart & bake goods!I never liked egg tart because it smells like chickens poop. But this mochi egg tart is so different & so delicious. I’m going to purchase few more boxes & bring them back to NY! ??

We used to go to one of these in Taoyuan Taipei and Im over the moon that they are now here in Hawaii. We took home a creme bun, chocolate bun, lemon cakes and a salt milk bun....every single one light fluffy and chewy. All taste superb and not too sweet. It's a bunch of lovely textures and tastes that just makes you want more and more. Cant wait to go back and have coffee!
