This place was outstanding! The food was impeccable, service was amazing, and ambience great. This was easily our best meal in Honolulu and would highly recommend to others. We will be visiting again on our next trip here! We had the dumplings, Lomi roll (the maki was excellent), and the chicken- all were outstanding!

This restaurant is tucked away in the Romer House and has a super cool lounge vibe. The service was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! They started us off with a tasty ube foam palate cleanser then we ordered the seafood pancake-Okonomiyake, kalbi short ribs, braised sweet potato and banana mango mochi cake. The flavors were balanced and deep and we left feeling extremely full and satisfied. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal at a cool spot!

We had our wedding reception here in the private garden room and it was the most delicious food and best service I've ever had. I was amazed at how much food there was, I would 100% recommend you eat here if you're in the area. Our server was Sinclair and they were incredible! The most attentive server who went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. Everyone kept raving about the food and Sinclair at how good of an experience we had.
I would come back in a heartbeat, and would especially recommend hosting a private party here. We had some vegans and the chef went above and beyond to create dishes we could eat that didn't make us feel left out of the meat dishes.

The Godzilla rolls were really good a bit too much of mayo. The okonomiyaki is really good. The ahi tuna tataki is excellent! Chicken karage was just ok, the short ribs were really good but a little bit too sweet imo. The shrimp tempura was not actually fried, it was more styr fried that deeps fried. The salmon poke was good a bit spicy for me. Overall, you can have for your experience, 2-3 meals to share per person. You go to the restaurant more for the experience more than to be full. It is a bit overpriced for what it is tho.

Was looking for a place to eat late night and they went beyond expectations. Unassuming from the road, complete with a broken step leading up the staircase to the entrance, but once inside we knew it was legit. Friendly staff, great drinks and amazing food!

My only one nitpick was that the music was a little too high energy for such a calm and subdued setting. I wasn't expecting hip-hop.

Truly excellent experience. We sampled several small plates and every one was perfection. The stuffed Shiitake were so good we ordered more. Recommend amberjack ceviche, ocean umami, yellowtail hanabi sashimi but I’m sure everything is on the menu is as excellent as what we ordered.

Place was freezing cold and we told staff numerous times but little was done about it. Ruined our experience as we couldn't sit and enjoy our dinner. Food was okay but nothing special, not worth the price though given the portions and taste. We spent over $500USD for 6 and left disappointed and cold.
