My go to coffee shop when I'm visiting family in Kaka'ako!! I usually get their roasted hojicha or matcha lattes and a few of their scones. Service is quick and easy and they even remembered me, which is awesome because they definitely are too busy to remember people who visit the shop. But they do! Ambiance is upbeat and modern edgy with a few tables indoor and three tables outside. They have discounts on pastries on Tuesday!!

Mmmm nothing like a tobacco flavored coffee to start your day. The bacon muffin thing was good tho. Island brew is a couple feet down just go there

Unsure.. I wasn't excited with my bakery item or my matcha latte.

Scones fantastic. Chai terrible. Worst chai I've had on island. I will go back for baked goods anyday!

Great iced vanilla latte but they lost a star for charging me $1 for switching from whole milk to 2% milk…

9Bar is my favorite local coffee shop and place to hang out. I cannot say enough good things about everyone who works here. The best coffee on the island, made by the best baristas on the island. Excellent music.Thank you to Tracey, Kayden, Krystn, Tina and everyone else for always making me feel welcomed and at home.

I came here at a friend's recommendation and I appreciate that there are several unique things on the menu especially as the area has several coffee shop competitors.I got an Espresso Mule with Honey and it was fantastic. The slight acidity and bubbles in the drink made it refreshing and while I ordered it for my morning drink, it would also be a great afternoon caffeine pick me up drink

For legit, high-quality, origin-attentive, coffee in destination-Kakaʻako, this is the place. Even the decaf, sourced from a Big Island grower, will make you return. Or just say: ‘Yes, more, please’ to your next americano. The large muffin–scones, affectionately called scruffins, in flavours like lemon-poppyseed, white chocolate chip-matcha, strawberry-mango-cream cheese, everything bagel-cream cheese, et cetera, are tender and delicious and have a pleasing variety of textures. The assortment of coffee drinks is large, without losing focus on top-quality coffee. Even the daily drip is a reason to go to this local café.Indoor & outdoor seating available.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian, yes. The female employee, forgot her name but a total sweetheart, bakes all of their unique goods fresh daily! And the coffee creations are also excellent and all their own; bravo.

Cutest coffee shop, great coffee, delicious snackery. Those scuffins are bomb.com, don't sleep on those. Friendly fast service. worth it.

Finally get to try their scuffin, which highly recommend! Remember to ask for toasted, it goes so well with a cup of coffee or any drink. I opt for the matcha and white chocolate flavor ($4.50), which I can taste the matcha flavor in it. Although it has white chocolate chips, but it did not make the scuffin super sweet. They have day old scuffin for sale for $3. I would definitely come back to try other flavor scuffin. I also opt for a coffee, or their special - brewtini (cold brew with cranberry juicy and simple syrup). I ask for no syrup which is perfect sweetness for me. Service was okay, waited for awhile before someone came out to take order. And cashier asked if I want my scuffin to be toasted and I said yes, but then she immediately forgot and gave me the scuffin without putting in the toaster. And when my drink was ready, the female barista did not call my name, so the drink was sitting on the counter for awhile. Until she said the drink name and my name (did not said it right either) then I know that's my drink. Is a nice little shop to enjoy their coffee and scuffin while doing some work or relax out.
