Located in the heart of Chinatown and Maunakea Marketplace, this place serves authentic Filipino food. I arrived late today and it was out of pork adobo. So I had Lechón Kawali and an unknown dish that was served cold. The lady told me it was pork and indeed it was pork, but it was like pork organs mixed with onions and scallions. Both dishes were tasty. With rice, the total was $20. Cash only here as well as other stalks here in the plaza. The serving size was decent as I couldn’t finish everything for lunch.

Vegetarian options: Some of Filipino vegetables dishes have small amounts of meat in them.

Parking: $3 per hour on the street. There were a couple small private lots across the street as well.

Pork adobo was amazing. Also the chicken afritada (like Philipino fried chicken with amazing sauce and peppers),

Quick no-frills cafe to get Filipino takeout, located in the Maunakea Marketplace. Plate lunch with two choices of meat was $10. Reasonable portion size, but prices on the menu seem to be out of date.
