WOW!!! So impressed by this restaurant!!

My bf went on a fishing charter (with jigging honolulu, also highly recommend) & the captain recommended this place for cooking his catch!

Fish was a snapper and was prepared 7 ways (pictured is 6) — carpaccio, tataki, sashimi, caviar roll w/ fried fish, grilled collarbone, nigiri, agedashi tofu w/ fish. It’s $20 to prepare + price per dish, but our total was soooo sooo sooo reasonable i was shocked when the bill came out.

Also, the service was phenomenal. Not sure who our server was, but everyone there is so attentive. Don’t know when I’ll be back in Oahu, but I will absolutely revisit when I do & recommended to all my friends :)

Thank you Akira team!!

I found Hamachi kama tucked away at the bottom of the menu. It is the collar bone, lots of work to eat, not pretty to look at but packed with flavor. This is what Italians call "cucina povera" the peasant food of the poor people. The set menu came with a small salad, pickled vegetables and udon. Each tiny dish was prepared with care, presented with grace. The dashi for the udon did not cut any corners as is all too common nowadays. It was delicious.

Wow, this place reminds me of eating in Japan. The food is delicious, a small whole in the wall and by dinner time it’s a full house but the food is really delicious. ? The services was excellent as well.

Wheelchair accessibility: My dad came in with a walker and was able to come in through the back entry, we were very happy they could accommodate us with no problem.

Valet parking available entering from the back side by daiso store, just 2 buildings away. I believe it was like $2,$3 for 3 hours with akira validation.
Food and service are good.

Delicious food. We got chirashi bowl, sushi, agedashi tofu, udon, tempura and vegetables roll. Everything was prepared nicely. My personal favorite is the chirashi and agedashi tofu. Service was quick. Ice cream was fresh too. They take cash and cards for payment. Happy hour menu was amazing.

Parking: Street parking right in front of the restaurant is only for outside rush hour. But there are plenty of parking spaces nearby.

Ne aware that parking inside eleven50 is valet (validated by the restaurant), but parking on King Street might be easier.

Get the omakase - you won't regret it! Also, the miso butterfish was the best seafood dish I've had in my life!

This place is amazing and the fact that it is a 4.4 star place cements my distrust of google reviews. We did the omakase course and it was worth every penny. We will be dreaming about the miso butter fish for the rest of our lives. This is the closest I have come to feeling like I was back in Japan that I have gotten in the states.

Absolutely beautiful dinner with the best tasting sashimi I have ever had in any city, in any country.

This place is a hidden gem! We got their teishoku sets, which are fantastic value for the amount of food you get whether you do 1 or 2 choice for entrees. It tasted great too, the chicken katsu and shrimp tempura entrees were excellent. Service is fast and attentive. The only potential issue is parking. Other reviews mention a valet lot, but we weren’t able to find the entrance to that despite circling the block twice. We ended up parking on the street, which is fine since it’s free after 6pm.
