These people are nasty, dumping their greasy liquids in the storm drain. It is the responsibility of the owners to make sure the stops happening.

I've ordered from them a number of times, both for my office and my personal family events (wedding shower, baby shower, etc.) and the cost and flavor cannot be beat. I will continue to order from them for every occasion needed! Susan is so accommodating and easy to work with. Just don't forget that they don't take debit cards or charge cards. Cash or check only.

I got lunch for a meeting and everyone enjoyed the choice I made which was the miso butterfish bento plate. The Teri Beef was good too but the butterfish was definitely the favorite. The price very reasonable also. I would order from them again.

So Happy we ordered bentos for my dad's service from them. We had so many compliments on the bento!!! I would recommend Ala Hawaii Kitchen, excellent customer service and they were ready with the order when we had to pick it up. It was all boxed up and ready for us.

Never eaten at this place or purchased bentos from them directly. However they regularly have their bentos at Times supermarket on King St. The only reason I know this is because I actually read the label on the bento because it was good! Look. We are not talking the highest level of bento, but we are talking tasty. Yes, the bento was probably lying around for a while - I have no idea when they deliver to Times, but the taste was still there. Miso butterfish, salmon, fried battered fish, purple rice, white rice, inari sushi, kabocha, veggies in all types of combinations are available. The price is reasonable at around $7.50 and you can get mini bentos for only around $5.50. I'm a s***** for bento. I love it. I'd rather eat a combination of 6 small items than a $8 poke bowl or $10 steak plate. Plus, bento is grab and go. While people are standing in line to order their plates or bowls, I'm checked out and waiting. Keep it going Ala Hawaii, people need bentos!

Great hole in the wall bento spot in Mccully. True local Asian dishes like my grandma used to make. Fast grab n go food, perfect for work or on the way to the beach

Reasonably priced and fresh out of the kitchen.

I ordered bentoes for a social distancing birthday party - picking up bentoes at 11 am and 5 pm for people who were driving by throughout the day. Everybody was very happy with the variety and taste of the bentoes. I thought my miso butterfish was a bit salty. The price certainly is right for what you get and so convenient and safe during this pandemic.

There was only a small selection of bentos for walk-in customers. The rest of bentos that they had were for deliveries to Foodland and Times supermarket.

First time trying out Ala Hawaii Kitchen bento from Foodland. It was good until I started chewing onto a wire that was in my food. Sad, but it happens. Please just watch when your packing the food don't want your company to go down over stuff like this. Mahalo though it was a good bento!

So my office ordered bentos two days in the row from here and first day it wasn't too bad. Food is mediocre! 2nd day mostly everything on the menu wasn't available to order. The Salmon was a bit dry. The pricing of each bento was reasonable but it's like you can go don quiote or 7-11 and get a bento of the same quality. Service could be a little better because some of the female staff there need to learn customer service.

If you live on the Leeward side, Times Kunia sells Ala Hawaii Bentos and sushi too. It's pretty good and tasty. I like it and don't have to drive to Moiliili to get it.

Nishime was not nishime but instead oden. They also do not take credit cards only cash & checks. Food is very tasty.

Their maki sushis have great old fashion that my grandma and aunties made for our New Year celebrations. Their maki sushi are vegetarian which I love since I don't eat seafood. Prices are very reasonable for their tasty deli food.

What a find so close to my house. Ala Kitchen is literally a kitchen that makes bentos for grocery stores and other secondary vendors but the awesome part is that they also take walk ins. There is no place to sit down so it's picks up and go only. There is a wide selection of choices and sizes. We got there at about 845am and the bentos were still warm and they were still bring more out. We ate ours at the airport about 90 min later and my fish katsu was still crunchy. My wife got the saba and the fish was perfectly broiled and salted. The open early which is perfect for picking up something for a little trip and the prices are cheaper than most other places.
