We stumbled upon this coffee shop while strolling around downtown. It turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. The ube latte was nothing like I’ve ever had before - actual ube flavor, not overdone, not overly sweet. Perfectly balanced with the coffee. It was 10/10.

The coconut latte was also very refreshing. We got that one iced. Between these two drinks, I can call this coffee shop my favorite on Oahu. Will definitely be back.

We stopped by on our trip, and the food/drinks were great! Service was amazing too. The poor girl working was by herself during a very busy time making a bunch of food and drinks at once, but was still so nice to everyone and was very apologetic about the wait time (which wasn’t that bad tbh). I’m vegan and got the ube latte with soy milk and veggie sandwich, both were very good! They also have an açaí bowl, which is another option if you’re also vegan.

King cold brew was amazing. I snuck in right before closing. I wish I found this earlier

The local breakfast sandwich is shockingly delicious. Coffee is also good. Service is friendly but can take a while if it’s busy (which it often is in the mornings)

Excellent quality food, supremely good service, a home away from home, every time is a wonderful treasured experience with great feelings afterward. I will always love coming to Ali'i Coffee Co.. Even the house coffee, which is inexpensive at 3.75, is top quality Brazilian and Guatemalan mix.

I’ve gone a couple times. I ordered their Purple Haze, Avocado toast and Lomi Salmon bagel. Everything turned out so delicious. I’ve gotten the avocado toast more than once and depending on who makes it, you’ll get a fully loaded toast.

Really great atmosphere, amazing coffee, and personable baristas! 10/10 will come back! Only caveat is that there is limited seating but the coffee made it worth it

Aliʻi Coffee is a coffee shop in Chinatown, and like many other restaurants and coffee shops it’s good. However, what truly sets Aliʻi Coffee apart is not just their delectable offerings, but the warmth and familiarity they extend to their patrons. In a world where you can get good products almost anywhere, finding a place that genuinely cares about customer service and makes you feel at home is a rarity. This place goes out of its way to remember your name, recognize your order, and let you know that you are not just another customer but an actual member of the Aliʻi family. For a place so rooted in community, Aliʻi Coffee in Chinatown is where the roots go deep and the community is one that extends beyond their business location.

Aliʻi Coffee has been open in Chinatown for more than seven years and has been in business for longer. However, this is not surprising considering they actively care for their community, respect their differences, and provide a safe place for all. Their food is fresh, their drinks are made with love and care and their service is second to none.

I’m personally a big fan of their Hilo Honey Latte. Smooth, Creamy and Cozy. Every time I enter Aliʻi Coffee, I walk away with a smile on my face, not just from the quality product but also the energy you feel when you are in this place.

Love, love, love the Ali’i Coffee shop in downtown! Every time I go they’re playing great music with the friendliest customers service. The coffee is great and I wish I remembered her name but the barista with curly hair always gets the sweetness balance of their flavored drinks just right.

I went to Ali’i Coffee for breakfast after seeing good reviews. I ordered lattes, but they came out with no espresso at all (Didnt have a hint of espresso). Literally just milk in a glass. I’m standing there watching every other drink come out looking like a proper latte, but mine’s just white.

Honestly feels like it was done out of spite... either because I didn’t tip on the card right away (I always tip 20% in cash after service) or because we weren’t locals. I still left a 20% tip but she did not deserve anything in my opinion.

The woman who made it had short blonde hair. I definitely won’t be coming back and suggest if you do go, keep in mind if you dont tip right away they ruin your order.

I should've said something but it was busy and it's a small shop so I didn't want to be that person instead I drank a cup of regret
