Place was delicious! They have dairy free options. I had the coconut sorbetto. It was yummy. My bf had the dark chocolate gelato which he loved as well. The girls at the front worked hard to get people to try free samples which was awesome. Great place overall.

Every once in a while you just gotta have some delicious gelato. The young women working here are so pleasant and friendly, we were immediately drawn to their kiosk. They have gelato, sorbet, shakes and great coffee here. The gelato is sublime. My son ordered strawberry cheesecake, Tahitian vanilla, and coconut gelato in a waffle bowl. I'm dieting so I had an Americano. The gelato is rich, creamy, and luscious and my coffee was a wonderful pick me up. We're putting this on our "must come back" list!

The strawberry lemonade gelato is my favorite but I wish they also sold tubs of the gelato to take home because the portions they sell it in are so large that I can't finish it without starting to feel sick from all the sugar. I wish I had the option of indulging in it in moderation.

Stopped here for a sort of mini date with my 2 year old son. The staff was super excited to offer samples and of course we tried a few items. Ended up settling on coconut gelato in a waffle bowl. I thought the price point wasn't too bad and of course my son loved. It was sweet, but not sweet. My baby was all smiles and so was I. Easy win right here!

Reading the reviews of Aloha Gelato, the general results are either you love the gelato and think it's "the best," and worth the price, or you feel the gelato isn't that good and ridiculously expensive. Well, I'm on the expensive side. Aloha Gelato is the one that's located right in the middle of the third level of Ala Moana Shopping Center, above centerstage. It's the one with the screaming teenage girls yelling "sample! Free sample" repeatedly at every person walking by the kiosk. Over the years, perhaps decades, I've tasted a few samples, and only had it once with my mom decades ago. Finally had it again as I was with a friend with her 3 year old, and what kid doesn't want sweets? I do! The staff is friendly and probably way too energetic, but you have to be as it's loud all around. The taste of the gelatos wasn't as good, way too sweet, and the texture is a lot more stiff and dense than rich and creamy. They even had one of favorite flavors: Coffee, but it wasn't good enough to order! I just let my wife decide, and she wasn't impressed either, but we were treating our friend and her son, so the decision was the Mango Sobretto. This was like a frozen, super concentrated mango pudding purée. There was barely any mango flavor as that was probably over powered by the sour and sweetness. It literally tasted like mango pudding. It was neither rich nor creamy. The price for two ice creams with the tiniest off scoops costs almost $20. The scoop barely comes out of the waffle cone! The price is a real buzz killer and will completely make you not want gelato instantly. I understand that Aloha Gelato is in a somewhat prime spot with a decent amount of foot traffic, but you're still a small kiosk. Does the one selling cheap charms right beside you pay the same rate? Overall, it's not worth it to me for okay, small portioned gelato. I'd rather walk a little to Nordstrom Gelato.

Asked for a small gelato and was upcharged with a cone that I didn't ask for. When I went to ask about the upcharge, my card was grabbed from my hand and swiped through for the transaction. Extremely rude and wildly unprofessional.

This is my favorite ice cream thus far! THE BEST lilikoi cheesecake gelato! I've tried many places and so far this is the best! It's creamy and not too sweet. It's just right! It has a nice texture and I always get it in a freshly made waffle cone! Definitely a must try! It's located on third floor above center stage in Ala Moana Shopping Center! Sometimes they don't have the lilikoi cheesecake flavor out, but just ask, they will go and get it for you!
