Aloha Kitchen was amazing! The food was great and everything tasted fresh. The staff was super friendly and made us feel really welcome. The wait time was around 30 minutes, and the whole place had a warm, family vibe. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food and great service!

The breakfast we had here was wonderful. I was worried at first due to the crowd of people waiting and the long sign-up sheet for a table, but we got in within about 20min of putting our name down. The servers were all incredibly nice, one even offered to take a picture of our party for us. The food was amazing and came out super fast. I got the Ono meal kit for a more traditional, savory breakfast. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned amazingly, the protuguese sausage was well cooked, and the eggs were made exactly to order. I thought the prices were decent for what we got. I am tempted to come back here for breakfast every day of our trip! 😋

Aloha Kitchen is an absolute must for breakfast in Honolulu! From the moment we checked in, the vibe was fun and welcoming. The guy calling names from the waitlist even did a little twist on everyone’s name — when he called mine he said, “Amber is the color of your energy,” which honestly made my morning 😂 Such a small touch but it set the tone!
The wait was short and totally worth it. The food was 5-star across the board — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they care about what they serve.
Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area. Great food, great energy, and such a fun start to the day! 🌺🥞

Guy in the front is kinda annoying
Feels like a family run business and it shows! We loved our breakfast here, we got the fluffy soufflé pancakes which were super unique but very fun and delicious too. Service was incredible, and moved very quickly so don’t be scared if there’s a line out the door — just means it’s THAT good!! One note is that they were cash only when we visited, but don’t think this was a permanent thing so just be aware of the possibility.

This place must be in some guidebook as every morning I can see the large crowd of tourists gathered at the door of this tiny place. This is a cash only place so every time I walked by I remembered that I didn’t have any cash on me. Finally yesterday we got to try its soufflé with strawberry and mocha sauces. The staff told us all their fruit sauces were made from real fruits. The soufflé was light as it should be and not overly sweet.
The overall impression of the food itself was good, but the “cash only” policy, the long line, the lack of a nice sitting area and the excessively high price for a soufflé made this a less than desirable for the locals. Perhaps it’s best suited for tourists who would dine once and be gone. I’m pretty certain that the high prices here are directly correlated to the length of the wait time. The more popular, the higher the price.

Had the Coconut Soufflé Pancakes and I’ll definitely be getting them again before leaving. Service was quick and polite, the food was excellent, and everything came out fast. A must-visit while you’re here — easily the best breakfast spot we’ve tried so far.

Dave is wonderful. Best cooked lobster in a long time on their lobster Benedict, with the rest of the Benedict also wonderful. And the coco-macknut souffle was the best combination of sweet with a little salty and perfect. Thank you.

Great food, but disappointing policies.
We ate here several times during our vacation and always enjoyed the meals. On our last day, a few hours before our flight, I stopped in with my kids to pick up some takeout. They refused to accept a credit card for takeout orders, even though they had accepted credit cards every other time we dined in.
It made no sense. I even offered to pay extra or leave a generous tip, but they still declined. A really frustrating experience, especially with my kids there.

Visited Hawaii and took a walk from Waikiki Beach up to Aloha Kitchen such a great spot! We had the guava juice, the loco moco, and a strawberry soufflé pancake, and everything was absolutely delicious. The service was super friendly, and while there was a bit of a lineup, it’s easy to see why the food is that good. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I visit!
