The food was so good - I didn’t take a photo as I was so hungry but the burger was seriously one of the best I’ve had. I added an egg to the western and it was unbelievable. Fries were the best I’ve had on the island so far too.

Great service, and really good burgers. I got the aloha burger with bacon and egg added and that burger absolutely did not disappoint, probably the best burger I ever ate hands down. We also got the keiki sliders and a teriyaki burger they both were good too. The burgers and fries were both hot and fresh.

Frustrating experience overall and was refused service on a bizarre food allergy premise.
Story: I read the allergy disclaimer signs and answered “peanuts” when asked by the cashier about food allergies only to be surprised that no one on the team could identify what part of the aloha smash burger would have peanuts.
After talking it over with my wife (the one with the peanut allergy), she agreed that she’d skip eating so I could eat — only to be refused service by the staff and told we needed to have her SIGN A WAIVER, which is probably one of the most ridiculous requests we’ve had for a dining experience (literally have never experienced this ever).
EOD I can understand exercising caution around food allergies, but training their staff ask about allergies only to not know what ingredients are in the food is unacceptable and frustrating. There are plenty of other restaurants / stands in the Waikiki area that can accommodate food allergies. Strange practice to flat out refuse customers because they’re not confident in knowing their ingredients and how they’re handling food.
We were really looking forward to trying this place all week but can’t in good faith recommend it to anyone — especially if you have allergies.

10/10 recommend this spot when visiting. Enjoyed the Aloha Burger & Western Burgers. They were not overcooked, juicy and the fries were crispy. For fresh burgers the service was quick. Great job!

The burgers and fries we had on our initial visit were so good that it prompted us to return the following day. However, during our second visit, we observed a few discrepancies. Firstly, the fries served were different and not as satisfactory as before. Secondly, the advertised "secret sauce" seemed to be absent unless mayonnaise was the intended secret ingredient. Additionally, it is worth noting that the menu lacks the option of ordering just the burger without the accompanying fries.
Edited to address the owners reply: I did not ask for anything different from the secret sauce. When we reached our hotel room, that's when we noticed we had mayonnaise and not the secret sauce. As far as the fries, I had no clue there were different options. If I did, I would have opted for the seasoned ones I previously had.

Was just feeling like something to eat, the old story of not sure what I wanted. Wandered along Kuhio Ave, smelt the cooking aroma and saw the van, gave it a shot and was very pleasantly surprised. Bought the Aloha Smash Burger, came with fries, was very tasty, and was not overly heavy but very satisfying, hit the spot. Sat outside the van on the street, nice breeze, tasty food and pleasant Waikiki night, and pretty much sums up the Hawaiian style of life. I would highly recommend this place to have a real tasty meal.
