Aloha Steak House

A very nice casual dining restaurant. They do a very nice job with the tomahawk steak and the rib cap was excellent and nicely priced also.

Walking in, the service and overall vibe immediately tell you this place is aiming high—it wants to be the go-to steakhouse for visitors looking for a memorable night out. From a tourist's perspective, it checks a lot of the right boxes: polished service, a confident atmosphere, and a menu that clearly takes steak seriously. I ordered the filet mignon, expecting that classic, fork-cut tender experience you dream about on vacation. It wasn't bad by any means, but it didn't quite deliver the “melt-in-your-mouth” moment you hope for from a top-tier, prime-grade cut. Interestingly, the night before I had a filet at a restaurant that doesn't even specialize in steak—and that one was outstandingly tender. So the comparison was hard to ignore. On the plus side, the sides were solid and very satisfying. The twice-baked potato hit all the comfort-food notes you want after a day of sightseeing, and the mushrooms were a flavorful, well-executed companion to the steak. Overall, it's a pleasant, well-run stop that feels tailor-made for tourists seeking a classic steakhouse experience—but if ultra-tender filet is the main reason you're coming, expectations may need a slight recalibration.

初めて伺いましたが、このお店が、ハワイで行った中で1番コスパもよく、美味しかったです。今回は ・リブアイフィレ(400g) ・マッシュポテト ・ガーリックシュリンプ(4pc) ・シーザーサラダ ・コナコーヒークリームブリュレ を頼みました。 2人でちょうど良い量でした。サービスもよくとても楽しめました！！ This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and it was the best value for money and delicious food I've had in Hawaii. This time, I ordered: Ribeye fillet (400g), Mashed potatoes, Garlic shrimp (4 pcs), Caesar salad, and Kona coffee creme brulee. The portions were just right for two people. The service was also great, so we had a great time!!

This was our third time eating here, and I find it to get better each time. Service is always phenomenal, drinks were tasty, and the food was absolutely amazing.

Open air steakhouse which is perfect for Hawaii. Steaks are delicious and cooked to perfection. Enjoyed the wine selection by the glass. The Langhe Nebbiolo and Siduri Pinot Noir were great with the steaks. Sides were overpriced and underwhelming. Skip the twice baked potatoes and the creamed spinach. I highly recommend the outdoor seating. Free parking validation at the Hyatt Centric Hotel across the street.

Server Justin was outstanding! Best sever we've had, Ritz Carlton quality. The meat, the cut, cooking style, and flavor were outstanding. The house garlic butter on top of the meat was to DIE for! So amazingly flavorful! The burratta salad was great! The stuffed portobello was OUTSTANDING! It was out of this world with flavor. You can taste the cheese flavors. Baked to perfection! For the not good, The twice baked potato was terrible! Potatoe skins carved out stuffed with fake white mashed potatoes out of a box! At least, that is what they tasted like. It had bacon and a few sprinkles of cheddar that my husband and saw and tasted, not me. No chives, no butter, and no sour cream. Garlic shrimp was poor at best, ZERO flavor. Do not order. Housemade watermelon Ice cream- yum! (If you have room in your tummy) Justin is the BEST! Made our experience! Steaks are outstanding. The rest, below meh. Team Justin! Oh my God.

Tomahawk was very good. Seared Blackened Ahi was also very good. Would like to come again.

We decided to come here for our traditional couples' “last night of vacation” dinner. Excellent choice. Seated right away, server was excellent AND had personality! Prices were typical Waikiki, but you get what you pay for! We had a Caesar to start with that wasn't spectacular but it was good. 3 of us ordered filets which were simply outstanding. Cooked perfectly, melt-in-your-mouth good. Whatever the house Cabernet was...was fantastic. As were the espresso martinis we had for dessert. All good! We all agreed this will be our new ‘last night go-to' place!

Great service accommodating my party of 10 to sit in back to back booths and amazing food! My husband and I shared the Tomahawk Steak and it was incredible!

We had the dinner for two. All of the courses, from the wedge salad through the watermelon soft-serve, were perfectly cooked and delicious.

Booking was smooth through the internet. On the day of our visit, we ordered the Tomahawk (900g) from the Holiday Special menu. The side dishes, such as salad, shrimp, and potatoes, were also delicious. The meat was tender, and the sauce had a great flavor. The three of us—my mother, a friend, and I—finished it all easily. For the final dessert, I felt that having pineapple sorbet instead of watermelon ice would have been a more refreshing choice. However, overall, we were very satisfied, almost giving it a perfect score. I would definitely like to visit again for a meal the next time I'm in Hawaii.

I prefer a discreet waiter who works unobtrusively — refilling water and attending to details without unnecessary questions or conversation. If I wish to see the menu again or order another bottle of wine, I will ask. There's no need to inquire more than once if everything was satisfactory; if something isn't, I will say so. This is not a criticism of the waitress, who was clearly competent and attentive, but simply a matter of personal preference. When dining with my family, I value a sense of privacy and quiet — service that is attentive yet remains gracefully in the background.

カジュアルなステーキハウスとは言えど、チップも取るのだからそれなりの仕事はしてほしい。 1.注文数を間違える。 料理が来ていなかったので、確認のためにメニュー名を言ったら勝手に追加になっていた。 2.ステーキの焼き加減を確認しない 3.クレジットで支払いをしたが、カードを渡してから10分以上戻ってこない 4.熟成肉のリブアイを注文したが、熟成肉とは思えないほど普通 全体的に良いところがなかったので、もう2度と行かない。 カジュアルなので、単にお肉を食べたかったらここでもいいと思う
