We tried the Garlic Spicy and Hot Shrimp, but it didn’t really stand out. The shrimp were dry and stringy, missing that tender, juicy texture you’d expect. The sauce was also on the lighter side, so there wasn’t enough flavor to go with the rice.

The coconut shrimp here is half the price of Duke's Waikiki's, but at twice the quality. So savory! Highly recommended!

Quite possible the best piece of fish I've ever eaten. I ordered the Miso Butterfish Plate (Black Cod) and literally every bite was heaven. The skin of the fish was cooked so perfectly and melted in your mouth with a perfect sauce to accompany it. The furikake rice was excellent and was all the better as it soaked up the extra sauce from fish as well. Outstanding.

Do not understand the hype of this place. The Kalamari was poured into the fryer from a large frozen plastic bag maybe bought at Costco. The other two shrimp dish portion size for the $$$ was small. I felt scammed.

Convenient, tasty, and full of aloha! This food truck is a hidden gem. The crispy shrimp dog was packed with flavor and that house sauce was on point. I also tried the Angry Shrimp Plate HOT—not that spicy, but rich, and satisfying with the furikake rice and greens. The Hawaiian iced lemon tea hit the spot on a warm day. Seating is limited, but the quality and vibe more than make up for it. Great local business—definitely coming back!

Google says the buisness is open we walk all the way from the beach to here at 3pm on a Monday and the worker says they are closed but obviously an employee is there. Update your hours beyond annoying.

We ate shrimp katsu which was good and crispy, it needs better dipping sauce they served tartar sauce.
I had the angry shrimp I asked for Xtra spicy , not spicy and the shrimp were rubbery and overcooked.

Amazing food and excellent service!!! I would highly recommend the salmon plate, it’s fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious!! The birds are a bit of a nuisance, but everything else is incredible!

Based on the reviews, I was excited to try this truck. We were greeted by a friendly staff member, which made for a nice first impression. While waiting, I sat at a shaded table next to the truck and unintentionally watched my order of coconut shrimp being taken directly from a prepackaged orange box labeled “coconut shrimp” before being fried……

For $19, I expected something fresher. The shrimp arrived with soggy bottoms, which affected the texture. The $4 “lemonade iced tea” also tasted exactly like Brisk, so I’m guessing that’s what it was. While the service was friendly, overall, the experience didn’t quite match the price or the hype.

Ordered the #8 miso butterfish plate (black cod) and it was delish. It was a sweet taste with the perfect amount of rice and salad.
