Food was good (when in Oahu, it’s hard to find as good quality we’ve found so we’re comparing this place to other Oahu places- not mainland).They use San Marzano tomatoes so the sauces are that good true Italian flavor.Portions are okay, and cost is high, but so is the island in general.It was SO LOUD and kind of crammed inside so don’t expect to be able to have a quiet table conversation. It’s as loud as a cafeteria.Our waiter was such an amazing person and was very helpful.We would eat here again for sure!

Waiter never took care of us… waited to be waited on… the busier/ floor manager came to our table and greeted us after 12 minutes.. great lasagna… still no server?had no idea who our server was…Waited for bread service, the person who brought our food said,” you will have to order that from your waiter”…..No waiter, waited 20 mins for a check….All of a sudden… a waiter appears…Very poor recovery …. The Bus boy took care of us…Do not want to believe know one wanted to serve us because we were “old”…no money in “gratuity”…Lasagna was great, really good as a matter of fact…Service sucked, will not spend money in an establishment that seems… disregarding.Guess if we looked like we were with “James Beard”… we could have got a clean table.

Come during the happy hour! Awesome appetizer and wine deals! Plus amazing pizza and pasta, a little bit off the main waikiki strip but not too far. Just perfect .
3 of my friends and I went to this restaurant for a birthday. We arrived and they gave us a very small table (not practical) but that was not the worst.3 of us took the Alfredo Truffles and we all got sick the entire weekend because of it. The sauce had the taste of butter and oil.Our other friend took pasta with pesto and also got sick because of that meal.I do not recommend the pasta at that restaurant.

Honestly one of the best dinners I’ve had.This place is worth checking it out. Definitely not just a tourist spot.Octopus ceviche, fettuccini and lasagna were excellent. Service was top notch. Our server(great guy who lived in Washington state)was lovely and attentive. We’ll be back for at least one more meal before going home!

Disappointed this visit by the hostess, server and the food. When I was here a few months ago I thought this was a great spot, very unhappy now.We ordered the kids cheese pizza that was incredibly oily and flavorless. Our margherita pizza wasn't very good either.The service was uninspired, to put it lightly.*February 2024 editCame in for dinner tonight and it was a complete 180 from my last visit. I had the salami pizza that was absolutely perfect. Crust, sauce, toppings, everything was on point.My server was incredible. Kaili is extremely professional, sweet, and treated me like family. I highly recommend Appetito and hope you get the same experience I did tonight.
