Food was very tasty and the service was amazing. Amy was our waiter and this was the second time she was our waiter and one of the main reasons we will keep coming back. She was very attentive to us and our needs as well as our kids. She always has the best recommendations and service with a smile always and so friendly. 10 of 10 will be back and if you ever visit them please request Amy as your waiter

Couldn’t recommend this place more for east side Italian.

Amy and her staff took phenomenal care of us.

Our wine was never empty, bread was offered to be replaced as soon as the last piece was picked up, water never ran out and we had either Amy or one of her teammates there every 5 ish minutes making sure we were good.

Left no wants, went there because I wanted some pasta and it was close.

Food was a 7/10, but better than most Italian on island. Customer service made it. Tiramisu was banging too.

I will be recommending to everyone that will hear me, and I will be back a couple of times monthly for sure.

Awesome service, ono food, and such a welcoming ambiance. The staff showed real aloha — friendly and attentive from start to finish. Every dish we tried was tasty and satisfying. Plus, plenty of parking. Assaggio in Hawaiʻi Kai is definitely a kākou kind of place — comfortable, convenient, and worth coming back again and again.

My family and I came to this location only because we where in the area. We have eaten at the other locations like Ala Moana and Kapolei, these places were great. With those great examples of dining, we chanced it on this location. Was not what we have come to expect from this restaurant Chain. The service we junk and quite rude. Super long wait for our food, and when we did get the food there was little to no flavor. No love, no soul to the food, and for the price we paid we expected better. Needless to say we will stick to the locations that we know are good. Thanks for the dining experience it made us appreciate the other locations that much more.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant great food and service.
The restaurant is typical upscale Italian, nicely appointed and clean inside but nothing to talk about.
The service was great without being to much. All the staff said hello and thank you when entering and leaving with some nice small talk as well. You do get table bread with a small bowl of butter. The bread was good soft interior and crispy crust.
I had the lasagna that arrived fairly quickly, and was fantastic. Every part was perfect it arrived still boiling hot in its ceramic bowl. The presentation matched its taste the cheese, meat, noodles and sauce were all in perfect proportions. I can't say enough about this lasagna, its refreshing to get exactly what you expect..
The prices are on par for this level in Hawaii which was $38 without tip.
Overall a great experience a must when looking for great dining experience..

David, the chef, and his staff put together a fixed menu for my significant other's birthday. All our guests and us thoroughly enjoyed everything about the evening. The food, the wine selection and the service was the best I have enjoyed in their fine restaurant in Hawaii Kai. Amy, the main server along with the rest of the service staff were dedicated to make sure we enjoyed every moment and morsel of our fete.

Johnny is one of the nicest, funniest people I’ve ever met! While the food at Assagio’s is always consistently good, I will definitely prefer this location when Johnny is working.
