Assaggio Hawaii Kai

David, the chef, and his staff put together a fixed menu for my significant other's birthday. All our guests and us thoroughly enjoyed everything about the evening. The food, the wine selection and the service was the best I have enjoyed in their fine restaurant in Hawaii Kai. Amy, the main server along with the rest of the service staff were dedicated to make sure we enjoyed every moment and morsel of our fete.

Johnny is one of the nicest, funniest people I’ve ever met! While the food at Assagio’s is always consistently good, I will definitely prefer this location when Johnny is working.

Every Assaggio we’ve been so is fantastic.

Valentines day was our first time going there. Loved the food and you can see the water an the boats while you enjoy your meal. Servers were great and they did forget about us with our desserts but it was pretty busy so we didn't mind the wait. Will definitely go back again

Wonderful place to go to for dinner. Food is absolutely delicious. Wait staff is fantastic. Our waiter, Johnny, was super helpful and friendly.

Pleasant interior. Super friendly and attentive staff. Excellent menu selections. The food was prepared fast and hot. We both got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. The chicken was a tad over cooked. The Alfredo sauce was light a tasted great. The garlic bread appetizer was underwhelming. It was on thin dry bread with little garlic taste. Overall though it was tasty food with excellent wait staff.

We enjoyed dining here for many years, but in the last couple years, we thought the food had gotten too heavy and greasy from broken butter and olive oil so stopped going. A few days ago we saw a posting on nextdoor that they were offering an early bird special from 4:30-6pm on several dishes at an awesome price and that lunch service was also being added starting Oct 11. We thought the early bird special would be a great way to check up on the current experience. We're so glad we did! Our hostess/server Amy was charming - so friendly and helpful - and we smiled at our first bite. We view this as a neighborhood restaurant for when we don't want to cook or when we get together casually with friends, so the special menu is an encouraging touch. The regular menu has the same great, extensive offering as of old, but the new pricing may shock you.

Parking: This restaurant is located in a shopping/dining center so there is lots of free parking but you may not be able to park directly in front of the restaurant.
