One of our favorite Italian restaurants. Under new management and staff. Everything seemed about the same though.

Wow, this place went down hill. I used to get excited about eating here, was terribly disappointed tonight. The prices are through the roof for the portions that you get and the quality was within arms reach of pizza hut pasta, not sure which would be better. The table bread used to be pretty amazing, I think they switched to wonder bread or something. Spent almost $300 for 6 people, wouldn't have been enough food if it was edible, but we had plenty to occupy the trash can due to the mushy, paste like cheese on our Alfredo and the soft squishy chicken that accompanied it. Over all, not happy.

Most disgusting food in Honolulu! Decided to dine in as a Friday night treat. Looked forward to a good seafood dish at a charming looking Italian restaurant. Should have left when the waiter told me not to order seafood. I was instructed to order eggplant parm or the chicken. Decided to order calamari as an appetizer and fettuccine Alfredo. Within 5 minutes of ordering I was served my bread, appetizer and main dish all at the same time. The plates were not warm. Never seen a iron skillet with food cold. I've never seen calamari look like that. It was a gell looking glued mess. I attempted to pull one piece off and it stuck together! The pasta was a weird curled egg looking noodle! It was sitting in a thin dump of cream with a gritty look and no taste. A pure liquid. There was no noodle coverage. I made the mistake and tried one noodle. It was room temperature and tasteless. A gritty sand like texture. How do you do that to Alfredo? After being passed up for 20 minutes a server finally noticed me after flagging him down. I tried to explain. He simply responded look we are busy and short staffed. Another server came over 10 minutes later and took the food after having el repeat again what was wrong. The first waiter came another ten minutes later to tell me he'd talk to the manager. After yet more time they came back with a check with a 30% discount. $28.22 for a meal I could take one bite that was sent back to the kitchen. SERIOUSLY?!? Wasted almost hour 15 minutes and almost $30 for horrible quality. All this explanation from the waiters. There wasn't 5 tables seated in the entire restaurant. Not sure if Gordon Ramsey could save this place.

Went to eat waited for some eye contact from a server but didn’t get any for a while. Finally was seated -served water then told by a different server that dinner closed already. Duhhhh tell us when we first walk in next time. Sooooo lame

This place exceeded my expectations. This is a classic red sauce Italian-American joint, of the kind you can find in every town on the east coast, down to the red checkered tablecloths and Frank Sinatra soundtrack. I remember coming here 30 years ago as a kid, not finding it particularly remarkable, and it used to be much busier. I went in with expectations that it would be a mediocre, quick, and cheap meal, and came out pleasantly surprised.

Pros:
-food was a step above a typical red sauce joint on the mainland. The fried mozzerella looked like it was homemade rather than coming from frozen sticks. The pasta was very good for typical classic fare. We did not try the pizza.
-solid ambiance and family friendly, kids on at least half of the tables.
-very reasonable prices for the portion size and quality of the food.

Cons:
-seemed understaffed, and we waited for a while before
ordering and waiting to pay the bill. Food came out without delay however, once we put in our order.

Found this little gem in Honolulu. It sits on a corner so it's easy to find coming from either direction. Great seating. The
menu is surprisingly affordable and the food was AMAZING. My husband had the lasagna roll and loved it. I had the gnocchi with mushrooms, delicious. Server's were were so kind and kept our glasses full and questions answered. Definitely going to be going back.

Absolutely AMAZING food!! Coming from NYC, me and my wife have had MULTIPLE Italian food spots growing up, and this is top 3 best italian we’ve ever had! An absolute MUST is the fresh fettuccine with any of your dishes! The alfredo or pesto is my favorite! This place deserves way more stars! And the service is on point! We had this place a year ago and were dying to come back! Finally reunited and it feels so good!!

This is one of the best Italian restaurants my husband and I have ever been to, and we grew up outside of NYC. The fresh fettuccine is absolutely amazing! We came here on our vacation in Waikiki and still talk about this place a year later! It was the first restaurant we came to now that we are back in Waikiki.

This was my first visit to this restaurant even though it's been a staple in the area for a long time. It was quiet for a Friday night but I didn't mind since street parking was easily available and we could hear one another over the music. Our servers were very friendly and knowledgeable.
