Great menu options to build out your courses, the wine pairing was excellent, and you can't be the views.
Beach side dining, delicious tasting menu with wine pairings. Relaxed, attentive service made for a memorable evening.
Last night's dinner was extraordinary. Ron, our cheerful waiter, set the tone. The five-course tasting menu introduced bold flavors and local cuisines that redefined how I think about food—a true palate symphony, thoughtfully composed by a brilliant chef. Thank you
Fine dinning at its best with amazing location. Required reservation. Yes , overall expensive but the quality of service and food was above and beyond. Our server was very knowledgeable and extremely attentive.

Usually with tasting menus, the final courses can feel underwhelming—but here, the fourth and fifth courses were absolutely divine. The wine pairings were good, though not the highlight of the evening. My husband and I ordered both the lamb and the aged beef, prepared medium. The lamb was pure perfection—beautifully infused with flavor. The aged beef leaned slightly well done overall, but the center was cooked to perfection. The sweet potato purée was the perfect complement to the ribeye. The lamb, however, was truly a tour de force: every bite revealed a new layer of flavor, all working in perfect harmony. The lamb alone is worth returning for. I finished with the chocolate bar, which was excellent and a satisfying close to the meal.
Our five-course tasting menu at Azure – The Royal Hawaiian was exceptional. We booked for 5:30pm to enjoy the Waikiki sunset, and our table right on the beach offered a perfect view.
The tasting menu was impressive, with various options for each course and consistently high-level flavours and presentation.
Our waiter, Nester, was outstanding—knowledgeable, detailed in his explanations, and genuinely personable, which added greatly to the experience.
While the desserts we selected were a little underwhelming in flavour, they were beautifully presented, and other choices may have suited us better.
Overall, an amazing dining experience in a stunning location.

Food was good, not great. Service was ok. Its next to a bar and grill so you get the clubby music from next door. You can't beat the views. You are ground floor on the beach.
We were fortunate enough to dine on the last day of the holiday tasting menu. The food was creatively and deliciously prepared; it actually could not have been any better. The seafood bisque had to have been the most perfected and tasteful we have ever enjoyed. Packed with deep layers of flavor. Kudos to the chef! The steak Rossini melted in your mouth and the lobster was cooked exactly as it should be. We also enjoyed a well matched wine pairing. Our server, David was well versed on all of the dishes and their ingredients plus very knowledgeable about the wines served. Fantastic job Azure chef and staff!

From the moment we stepped into Azure, the ambience alone set the tone for a night to remember — the oceanfront setting, elegant table arrangements, and that gentle Waikiki breeze made it feel like paradise. 10/10 for atmosphere.
We indulged in the five-course meal and every single dish felt carefully crafted and thoughtfully composed.
Course 1 — Soup & Salad: The soup was warm and comforting, a lovely start that awakened the palate. The salad was fresh and vibrant — crisp greens and seasonal vegetables tossed with just the right vinaigrette, setting a perfect stage for the courses ahead.
Course 2 — Kauaʻi Shrimp Poke & Scallop Tataki Ceviche: The Kauaʻi shrimp poke felt like the island itself on a plate — bright, briny sea asparagus, Maui sweet onion, and kukui nut gave it so much depth and character. The scallop tataki ceviche was elegant and delicate; the chili-yuzu emulsion added a subtle heat and acidity, balanced by daikon and a plantain chip that gave the dish a perfect textural pop.
Course 3 — Risotto / Pasta: The lobster & cured-egg-yolk risotto was creamy, indulgent, and rich — the poblano pepper butter added a smoky warmth that complemented the lobster beautifully. The alternative mushroom risotto offered a deeper, earthy contrast, with its mushroom dashi and parmesan harmonizing flawlessly. The caramelle pasta filled with shrimp was luxurious and comforting, the creamy alo macho sauce coated each piece, while uni and ikura added marine richness that made each bite feel special.
Course 4 — Main: Lamb & Lobster: We chose the lamb, and it was magnificent. The meat was tender and flavorful, elevated by the avocado-leaf chimichurri — a bright, herbal, slightly citrus-tinged sauce that felt balanced and refined. The romanesco mousseline and baby carrots rounded out the plate with elegance. The lobster alternative — with guava-macadamia nut sauce, green hollandaise and cassava — sounded divine too, and the thoughtfulness in offering both surf and turf shows Azure’s commitment to variety and excellence.
Course 5 — Dessert: The dessert course was playful yet refined. The Waialua chocolate bar was a dream for anyone with a sweet tooth — rich chocolate crunch, velvety chocolate cake, and a light orange whipped cream that cut through the richness in the most satisfying way. The faux abalone dessert (haupia mousse, matcha, hojicha cake, sesame sand) was creative and unexpected — delicate, layered, and beautifully island-inspired.
We ended the evening with coffee and tea — the perfect mellow finish after such an indulgent meal.
Service was exceptional: attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. The staff made us feel welcomed and truly taken care of throughout the evening — from explanations of each course to the timing and flow — Azure delivered a full-on feast for all senses. If you’re looking for incredible cuisine, serene beachfront vibes, and an experience that lingers in memory, this is the place.
