Ridiculously priced for Thanksgiving dinner. Honestly sort of a Denny's meal. Nice people. Only fair table but that may have been timing on a busy night. Good wine and cocktail. Cost over 500 the salad , entree, and dessert could fit on one plate. Love the atmosphere of Royal Hawaiian but this left a bad taste

We went for the thanksgiving fixed price menu — the food was NOT great and definitely NOT worth the price. We paid over $500 per couple...would never do it again. Go to the marital bar for a drink at sunset and then go somewhere else for dinner.

New chef is only answer. The meals mostly tasteless and just hyped up. Dessert was horrible. Only place I've known that could even mess up Dessert.

Waiter was obnoxious and disrespectful to my nine-year-old daughter, and got aggressive when we tried to leave.

First of all, the hostess who seated us was so sweet and delightful, and let us sit beachside in a cabana that had a canceled reservation. We had the three course prix fixe. The vichyssoise was perfectly prepared. The risotto was a bit salty and quite filling. The dessert was visually appealing but not particularly tasty. There was more noise from an adjoining hotel than I expected, and midway through the dinner, three juveniles on skateboards and wearing hoodies ran through the restaurant to the beach, which makes me wonder a bit about hotel security.

I had been before and had such an incredible experience, but last night was disappointing. Food came out strangely, sometimes far too fast, then a long pause. Dishes we had loved last time, we just liked this time -- which is not OK for the even-higer-than-last-time price. The shrimp poke was too salty and largely flavorless otherwise. The caramelle pasta which we raved over before, was too al dente (in fact almost crunchy at the twists) and the filling was too fishy, like maybe a day too old. The policy that the tables closest to the water are apparently sold off separately was not a welcome surprise either. This will be the last visit for us, most likely,

Beautiful setting. The food was uneven-some courses were excellent and some were disappointing. Service was generally good but I have had better at other prefix restaurants in Honolulu. All in all there are better places to dine for the money.

The staff at Azure went out of their way to make sure our anniversary dinner was perfect. They offered us a cabana for seating, brought us a decorated dessert plate and even made sure they took pictures to our liking after they took our picture for us. The service was above and beyond and the dinner exceptional. Exceeded our expectations!

Stunning setting right next to Waikiki Beach with Diamond Head in the distance. We enjoyed the tasting menu - beautifully plated and delicious. Big thank you to Tyler and others for their hospitality!

It was a bit underwhelming for being a fine dining restaurant at the Royal Hawaiian. I tried so hard to like it but it was just an overall poor experience. The food sounded good on paper but did not meet expectations from how it sounded.

Great evening! We did the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Each of the 5 courses you have between 3-5 options to choose from. We tried our best to get two different options and then share. Best dishes IMO - crap soup (first course), mushroom risotto (3rd course), steak (4th course).

From the picture, we expected nice furniture and a luxurious ambience. While the view is spectacular, it is still just metal patio furniture and also where they serve breakfast in the morning. My complaint would about the set menu price. $145 for a 5 course meal at this location is asking far too much. I would've been happy buying a fish dinner and drink at around $100 total for this location. If regular dinner options were offered, I would think this place would be slammed.

One of the best dinner experience in Honolulu! All the stuff were kind and they made our dinner so special!

First time doing a 5 course tasting. My reservation was for 7:15, the food and service was excellent however we didn't leave the restaurant until 9:30. Most of the experience felt like waiting for the next course. The portions were small (as expected) but there was an imbalance of how long it took to eat each meal versus how long it took the next one to come out. Would recommend for the vibes, ambiance, service but not if you're just hungry.
