I liked it but it’s not for everyone my husband had a rude surprise as he wasn’t expecting to eat frozen banana ? consider this a warning!!

Yummy, refreshing, and healthy. I was surprised by how well the texture mimics soft-serve. 4 stars because I think it was over priced.

Smoothies are great and have good ingredients. We kept coming back to this place throughout our trip! The frozen banana dessert was okay though, you can tell the bananas they freeze aren't the freshest because there's a little stinky undertone.

This "ice cream" made from just bananas is amazingly delicious. We had the Chunkadelic and Riss Moore. Both were so good. The shop is located on a path leading to the beach near the pink hotel in Waikiki. Definitely use the google pin to find it. The bowl was big enough for two of us to share. The cup seemed to be the perfect size for one person.

While visually appealing the actual pineapple yacht didn’t taste great, and don’t think it’s worth the long wait

Back to Waikiki after my first trip in Nov2022, and a stop at Banan was on my itinerary! That's how much I loved it the first time around! I was introduced to this place by a friend who lives here, so I know it's famous with the Hawaii locals too! Not one of those gimmicky places! I absolutely love The Amazon Creation - which is an Açaí soft serve with strawberry, granola and crispy quinoa (I skip the banana but it comes with fresh cut banana as well). Service is super quick (like literally 2-3mins!) and the pricing is comparable. It costs $9 for a cup, which is a good size to beat the heat!

This is a photo from the Banan Manoa. I love the options on the menu and you can't go wrong with the flavors. The presentation is great, just the price can be a little high. Although you are supporting Hawaiian grown banana farms and a Hawaii started business, always a plus!

Many organic frozen treats. Quick, friendly service right off of the beach. Just a heads up, the banana frozen yogurt tastes just like baby food bananas. IYKYK. Fresh fruit available as well. It's all to go, no seating available, between the coolest surfboard storage ever.

Stopped by Banan a few times on our way to/from the beach, and their treats always hit the spot. We got the Locals Only cup, the strawberry pina colada float, and a smoothie. Everything was delicious, service was friendly, and items are ready within minutes. Location is also great, as you can easily and quickly grab something as you're headed to/from the beach and/or as you walk around Waikiki. We found out that Banan is no longer selling their macadamia nut butter, which is so sad! According to the employee we spoke to, their treats will still feature the butter but customers can no longer buy the nut butter separately anymore.

Perfect frozen treat!!! No dairy, no sugar… “ice cream” made of just bananas! So delicious! I had a “locals only” bowl (mango chunks, pineapple chunks, macadamia nut butter, banana slices, honey drizzled, all on top of pure frozen banana) and it was a perfect lunch size for me! Health-conscious customers can now live the beach life!

BEST smoothies!! Not too thick, not too watery and not overly sugary! Great natural flavor and quick service.

Wow! A nice refreshing dessert place tucked away in an alley on Waikiki beach. Reference other reviews on how to get there. There's so many options but I opted for the locals only in a cup. There's pineapple, papaya, bananas, and macadamia nut butter (to die for) with banana soft serve. It was the perfect amount to share with my bf. Theres a few drink options too! My bf got the coconut cream mocha. It's not too chocolate-y and the coffee flavor still comes through. Everything came out quickly too!
