Decent shaved iced. They have honey topping which was interesting. It's convenient to our resort but not my favorite. Needs a better display of what they offer for flavors. I'd love to try the banana whip.

Their pineapple yacht was divine. Loved the dairy free ice-cream and the server mixed 2 flavours for us. The macadamia honey was great!

Extremely disappointed with the chocolate one (ordered it in a bowl with Mac but honey, peanut butter, and chocolate) which was too bitter and not enough sweetness at all. I really didn't want to waste (especially because it was $13), but I couldn't bring myself to finish it after a few bites.Service was fast even though there was a small line. I've been a fan since their UH location, but sad I probably won't be back in the foreseeable future.
Maybe this is great for others, but it is a NO for usIt kind of taste weird just like Apple sauce and flavored with chocolate or macadamia ( that’s what we have tried)Even the shaved ice has minimum flavor with Apple sauce like at the bottom..It is also overpriced for the served portion..☹️

While stopping to catch the last sunset of our trip we noticed a couple people walking by with shave ice and saw that Banan was located right off the sand and it was the perfect opportunity to grab another shave ice before leaving. Little did we know that this little beach shack was also driven by making a better environment and reducing carbon footprint all while reviving Hawaii's banana industry! Their frozen yogurt was all banana based and absolutely delicious, at first bite the subtle hint of banana had you think what was that? The more you indulge the more you find yourself addicted! No added sugar so it's a win win, sweet treat and less guilt! Order up the pineapple yacht for that instagram worthy belly filling treat!!

I got the shaved ice and my friend got the banana strawberry smoothie cup- the smoothie was delicious the shaved ice was pretty good but it did melt fast! I wasn’t aware of the banana ice cream on the inside which I wasn’t a fan of. Their prices are quite high compared the the other cafe next door which is the only reason I give 4 stars.

I didn’t try the ice cream so can’t comment on that but I was disappointed with the shave ice!! Paid a ridiculous amount of money and they didn’t even completely cover the ice with the syrup! After a few bites it was just plain ice with no flavour.

Our room snd flr was supposed to be an upgrade on a booking that was incorrect by the hotel. The room overlooks the steak shack kitchen. .Every day from 2 until late my room was engulfed in the stench of charring meat. Not nice for anybody..especially a vegan. The pool was very small and packed permanently after 7am given the size of the hotel this was not adequate. All rooms have doors without adequate decenders. You canot nomatter haw carefully avoid slamming entering or leaving. We were constantly awoken but other guest entering or leaving. The right side of hotel is also next to a huge exhaust that kept us awake every night. The room we were in is next to alley and gates slam constantly. Guests return noisily each night and there is no encouragenebt to be considerate. If you have to stay here....stay on the left side and high up. I could not recommend this hotel to friends or family. There is a nice new gym .
