Quick, fresh and very tasty. Pad Thai, any of their curries and their spring rolls are our go to dishes. I really haven't had a bad dish here.

Great food. Always smiles and consistent quality. It's a staple lunch spot for my work crew once a week.

The food was scrumptious! Highly recommend the Pumpkin Curry. We stuffed ourselves! The wait staff was so friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere, clean restrooms. We had a great time!

Great place. Friendly staff. We both ordered Pad Thai - one chicken and the other beef. It was good. I prefer a bit more sauce with the noodles, but that is preference only and didn't affect the taste.

How Bangkok Chef has multiple locations is beyond me.. I’m half Thai and spent many years in Thailand, so I’ll admit I’m a harsh critic when it comes to Thai food. I’ve consistently been disappointed with Bangkok Chef. I keep trying to give the restaurant chances because I’m desperate. But every time, I’m reminded of why it is never my first choice. The food tastes like Chinese food, missing a lot of the authentic Thai taste and ingredients (or sometimes have added ingredients that don’t exist in the real dish - e.g. bean sprouts in Pad Kee Mao!? It’s not Beef Chow Fun..). For the price, I hope they try harder to learn from a real Thai chef.

I just had the pleasure of trying Tom Kha Gai for the first time, and it was an absolute explosion of flavors that I savored with every spoonful. The rich, creamy coconut base perfectly balanced with the tangy zest of lime, the bright citrus notes of lemongrass, the warmth of galangal, and a subtle kick of chili made this Thai soup an instant favorite. I ordered from Bangkok Chef Nimitz in Honolulu, and they did not disappoint. The soup was fresh, aromatic, and delicious—definitely a dish I'll be craving again soon!

This was really bad. My wife and I didn’t like our food at all this evening. It was apparent that we weren’t happy. My wife had two bites of her food and didn’t eat anymore. Tasted like cafeteria food… the server proceeded to bring us a check when our full plates were at the edge of the table. Didn’t ask if it was okay or offer any assistance. She was sweet but didn’t seem to take the hint.
Won’t be back.

Amazing food at a good price!! Had leftovers that fed me for an extra meal. We had the green curry and fried long rice with pork. As a Southeast Asian, the taste was definitely similar to something back home. Fresh, Simple, Delicious! 🐘

The pad Thai chicken is probably the worse I have tried. I know the nuuanu location is really good but the Nimitz isn't that good.

It was busy tonight! I had the eggplant tofu, which was very good. A little too much Basil for me, but it was easy to pick around, and my husband ate it.
Service was good. Hostess / Server / Busses was very friendly.
The only issue with the Nimitz location is parking. We miss the one in Ewa Beach!

Went with a friend. Had the yellow curry chicken with rice. Delicious and good portion size. Had the taro tapioca pudding. Delicious.

Came back for the lemongrass chicken. Delicious and decent portions. Fast and friendly service. Had the banana tapioca pudding. Delicious.

Parking: 4 spots in front of restaurant. Sometimes taken by 7-eleven customers.
