Went here for a fun night out and the bouncer insisted my friend's ID was fake and continued to verbally cuss us out. He got aggressive and got in our faces when we insisted the IDs were real. He proceeded to threaten us and told a young woman to "shut the f*** up". When we crossed the street to go to the other bar, he continued to harass us and went up to another bouncer and told him not to let us in. Honestly one of the worst experiences I've had at a bar, especially on vacation - we have never been treated like this! DO NOT GO HERE

This place used to be at the top of my list. It still is, but after my last couple of visits, it's now sadly at the top of my Do Not Recommend list. Roll back the clock 10 years and this place was king! It was the place to go for pau hana and also late night shenanigans. I've had many good nights at Bar35 and remember it often having a long line to get it. Fast forward to 2024 and I feel it has achieved true dive bar status. This is very sad. I'm disappointed to see this and will not be back. I really don't know what went wrong here? Is it COVID that ruined them? Is it the lack of motivated staff, a problem that seems to be plaguing the service industry work force everywhere. Whatever it is, you won't find me in this shady area of downtown on a Friday night again.

Worst service I’ve encountered in my life. I was ordering a drink with my gf at the bar while sitting on bar stools and the bartender had the audacity to take my gf‘s seat away while we were ordering. Do you understand customer service? Trashy, rude, and not even worth it if you’re a wasted 20 year old. I used to love going to Bar 35 back in the day and I can confidently say I will never step foot in this bar ever again. Service was good. Great beer selection. Food was terrible. Ordered pizza. Thin soggy crust with Chucky cheese flavor. Ordered barbacoa tacos. Tortilla was unwarmed Costco stuff, barbacoa was dry. Included a cup of what I believe is "Old El Paso" salsa for sauce. Finally, ordered the pork belly burnt ends. I don't think this was actually smoked pork but instead pan fried pork belly thrown in BBQ sauce. Bar 35 used to have great food. I am so disappointed by its current state.

There are nothing but pedophiles, a few college students, and military folks. They are legitimately good but their crowd should be more select I can't say that people go where they want

For Halloween they were supposed to do wristbands to get into any bar for $15 and when I went they charged me $20 to get into the bar and wouldn’t give me a wristband to get into another bar so I wasn’t able to do the bar crawl. Waste of money. Manefist is better
