Wonderful dinner at Maze. We had the full experience menu with non-alcohol pairing. Each dish and each drink were terrific. Highlights included Hokkaido scallops, wagyu steak with banchan, and silly dessert rocks. The space is beautiful and quiet. So nice to go to a restaurant where one can carry on a conversation without shouting! We'll be back.

Celebrating our honeymoon on Oahu. Wanted to treat ourselves and Maze didn't disappoint. Loved the cocktail pairings with each course, added the supplemental course of Wagyu Musubi, phenomenal. The whole staff was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and hospitable. Would drink bowls of the sauce underneath the scallop dish.

As someone who has sought out chefs for a hobby, this may have been the most well curated culinary experience yet. I selected the Maze' Experience that includes cocktail pairings. I was a bit reluctant as I am not a fan of hyped, overdone concoctions but these accompaniments were perfectly matched to the different food courses, indeed elevating the experience. The service was lovely, the offerings clearly explained at each presentation. The counter seating is the best possible option as the team busily at work is indeed a symphony to behold. The timing and delivery of the different courses was perfect, unhurried yet timely. I would suggest this as a must when visiting Honolulu, an evening to remember long after the holiday ends.

Chef Chung and team continue to excel! Some standby classics (smoked salmon toast, wagyu tartar, bourbon in the rocks) and some new standouts (wow - the scallop with tarragon and sourdough!!). Coupled with creative cocktails and an intimate venue make Māze a place not to be missed!
