Bean About Town Waikiki

Raises prices 200% on food item (energy balls). 3 of them is now the most expensive item on the menu!!! Crazy. Used to be 3 for $5, now 3 for $10. Comparable shops sell those 6 for $10. Bean is charging well above market

We have been to both locations of Bean About Town (Waikiki and by UH) and love them both. The one in Waikiki has tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Their Shakarato (shaken latte) is my favorite coffee…ever.

At the time I visited there were only 2 workers and I waited for about 5 minutes at the counter before someone said please hold on, and I waited another 5 minutes. I ordered an iced lattes with house made butterscotch and they forgot the butterscotch, I came back and they mixed it in another cup to pour in

Coming from seattle, I find it hard to locate a non-burnt or acidic tasting coffee place in Waikiki.
This place is a gem find. It is tucked in the back and side street of the DFS duty free shopping mall. Ordered a plain latte (no syrup), it tasted very smooth and good. Def recommend!
They also have nice seating areas, not crowded at all.
Comparing to the over hyped Kona coffee in international market (always has a long line too), this place is so much better in taste and wait time.

I have been here before and loved it, but just came back and ordered a drink for here and got charged 1$. Wasn’t even told I would be charged a fee for table service which is absolutely ridiculous. Never been to a coffee shop that does that.

Do yourself a favor and get coffee else where.

Amazing pour over!
Tried the other trendy, long-line place two blocks off, and it was good, but this place is THE one if you're a true coffee lover. You don't even need to add anything to the coffee, it's that good. Take it black and enjoy the flavor. Bought some to take back home plus bought some Ka'u for delivery because they didn't have any in stock.
