Olili

Olili Beer Bar • $$$
2380 Kūhiō Ave. 2nd Floor, Honolulu

“Wow we were so impressed at both the service and the knowledge of our waiters on the selection and favorites. You go into the upscale grocery store and tucked away in the corner is this lovely restaurant called Olili’s. We could watch all the tourists and crazies on the street below because of the large windows and while we waited on the food. Our server a lovely woman who made a terrific recommendation on my entree. It was a piece of fresh fish with crispy skin served on top of a lovely bean soup. You would not think the two would work but it did. Amazing flavors and so inventive.
As there are so many bad tourist places to eat in Waikiki that are expensive and poor quality. Because this restaurant is in the upscale grocery store the restaurant takes their lead on doing a good job. Angelia was our waitress and she was spot on with her food recommendations and such a lovely personality. She even gave us food recommendations for the second half of our trip to the big island.“

“We hosted a happy-hour style welcome party before our wedding weekend at Aloha Beer, and we had such a fun time with our family and friends!

Mel was our primary contact, and she was FANTASTIC to work with. She was so helpful during the booking process, and had lots of great recommendations to help make our event exactly what we envisioned. She was quick to respond to our inquiries and helped us adjust certain details as it was needed. Mahalo nui, Mel!

During our event, the staff tending to our party were all so kind and readily available for us and our guests. The food was ‘ono (we received tons of positive comments on the buffet selection from our guests) and the drink ticket system worked out great.

My husband and I have always been fans of Aloha Beer as casual patrons going to grab drinks and a bite to eat with friends, but we were impressed with the level of service hosting a larger event there, both during the planning process and on the day of.“

“Tip #1 : Parking in the Lilia Waikiki was a hard pass for us. Would not recommend.. Limited space, elevators don't work, we don't live in the building so to access the structure was hard without a key.. We had to walk up the garage ramp just to get back to our car on the 2nd floor.. They do validate parking 2hrs for $4 - leaving the structure the machine wasn't working either so we had to call the attendant which questions us on why we can't go out.. First of all sir.. We ate at the restaurant, your elevators aren't working, the doors are all key access only and your machine to leave is not working either. We had a reservation for 6:30PM but thankfully got seated earlier by the host. OUTSIDE Seating only - lots of foot traffic and bus sounds since it's on the main road of Kuhio. There was indoor seating but the vent is not working so they only sat people outside. BUSY for Happy hour so definitely get there earlier. The service was great! Our server was fast & friendly. Drinks and food tasted amazing and worth its price. Highly recommend getting the mango ice cream, we most definitely will be back for that.“

“A huge shout-out to the wonderful staff at Pint & Jigger, especially our server, Bodhi! A couple of weeks ago, I was tasked to find a restaurant that would seat 20+ of us (including 2 kids who tagged along) who were wrapping up our conference. We left it to the last minute, but since many of us were already staying at the Ala Moana, I thought we could check out whether Pint & Jigger had space for us the next day. Not only did they make space for us on a Friday afternoon/early evening, they gave us our own room so that it wasn't as loud as the general area. Then Bodhi went above and beyond with his service and helping us all manage our bills, which we were happy to pay for delicious food! I know we were not the ideal situation for them, but the fact that they really put in extra effort to make us feel comfortable and welcomed absolutely made the experience a wonderful way to cap off our conference. Mahalo!“

“I almost didn’t come here because the first review was terrible, so I’m leaving this to encourage you to ignore that guy’s drama.

The food was good, better than you get at most airport restaurants, and certainly better than the other options at this airport. I’d suggest trying their BBQ as a dip for the French fries…it tastes homemade, our family loved it!

The service was great! Cherry was our waitress, she did an incredible job serving us! That other guy must’ve been having a bad day, or maybe he was expecting a premium experience for some reason, but this is a solid option while waiting in Honolulu!“
