Such a hidden gem on Kapahulu Ave! I stopped by during a food tour (right near Ono Seafood and Leonard’s) and was so glad I did. I had the cold brew with coconut cold foam- the flavor profile was smooth, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. My friend was torn between the rose matcha and honey matcha, and the barista went above and beyond by mixing the rose and honey syrups (even though it wasn’t on the menu!) so she could enjoy the best of both worlds. The matcha itself was fantastic- vibrant, not too sweet, and really well balanced.
The baristas here were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even better. Honestly, I’d recommend Better Daze over Sunrise Shack if you’re in the area!

Better Daze is always a win. Their matcha hits every time! My go-to order: the Rose Cloud Matcha with almond milk 🌹🍵 It’s absolute perfection every single time. Balanced, flavorful, not too sweet. Sometimes there’s a line, but honestly it’s worth it. They also sell yummy local snacks and treats.

Super cute little matcha stand! Got the vanilla iced latte with oat milk. Pretty good! They use ceremonial grade matcha which is a non-negotiable. Very friendly service and shares a lot with Ono seafood.

My husband and I love visiting this sweet coffee spot when we are visiting from Maui. If you are dairy free/ gluten free then this spot is perfect for you :) I loveeeee the coconut cloud 9 cold brew that is topped with a vanilla bean coconut milk whip!! It is so0000 delicious and such a score that it is dairy free! I also tried the GF/DF banana + ulu bread today and it was delicious! It's so nice to be able to enjoy sweets and treats and not have to worry about gluten or dairy! Thank you Better Daze!! :) and your staff is super sweet + helpful as well!

Such a cute lil coffee hut, complete with a little seating area and several parking spots. The coffee was fantastic, the syrups house made and the barista greeted us right we walked up. Next time, I will make sure to say for here to enjoy my rose oat milk latte in one of their cute mugs (hopefully the cat mug). Highly recommend stopping by!
