It's not really fair for me to review place. As a vegetarian I can say say uf you're a vegitarian, you can't eat here. I couldn't. It hawaiin food. Very meaty or fishy. And often greasy, I didn't see any of this food

A decent meal when visiting the Bishop museum. Croissant sandwiches were decent. Basic and tasty. The kids meal includes a drink and cookie which was a hit.

Even though at the museum such good plate lunch and good prices. Really nice little deck. Make sure you eat here if at the museum!

We looked forward to visiting the Bishop Museum and eating at this restaurant. We had arrived early to spend the entire day at the museum and expected to have a decent meal. The museum was five stars, not so this place. They opened at 10:30 but were unprepared to serve anything hot. We asked for the veggie wrap but that was also not available. They did have a frankfurter, barely warm and coffee. The soda machine was not working, along with the air conditioning, and the place looked tired. Later, we were told by a docent at the museum, the kitchen had been closed by the health authorities and they didn't reopen it. Food came from another restaurant and they could only reheat it. This place should be closed until they rebuild it into what it should be. Visitors should be warned.

The museum is an incredible place and the best place to learn about the history and traditions of Hawaii. And the cafe advertisement that stands near the cafe and says that here you will be introduced to real traditional Hawaiian food, this is sooooo far from the truth. So far away that I would never recommend this place to my friend, but would rather ask him to definitely avoid it. Definitely come to the museum, it's incredible, but bring sandwiches, coffee and water, just don't go into this cafe. I just want to address the managers of the museum and cafe in a humane manner. You can’t, you know, you just can’t, it’s inhumane to feed people what they do there and pass it off as Hawaiian food made from local products. Please put the cafe in order, make it cozy, as hospitable in appearance as Hawaii itself. Finally wash the windows and update the furniture. You are essentially the face of all Hawaiians for many tourists.

Just like 95% of eateries in Hawaii, overpriced and below average food. Sickly sweet chicken salad on a croissant made me feel so overwhelmingly sad from the inside out- wish I had eaten before visiting the museum and making my biggest mistake of the week.

Service was fast. I ordered a hawaiian plate, Kalua pig was salty and a bit dried out. But it was a great meal!

Scrumptious meal, picturesque casual setting, helpful and friendly staff. Diverse selection. Reasonabl prices.

Vegetarian options: Lots of salads. All items can be customized.

Dietary restrictions: Staff knew ingredients and suggested/dissuaded as appropriate.

Parking: Its part of museum. Afternoons and weekends may be busier.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp. Right in front.

Amazing collection of cultural artifacts from Hawaiin and Polynesian cultures, along with a clear exhibit of the origins of these rich cultures. Hawaii's transition from a Monarchy to statehood is explained. Also science and discovery for kids. Well done!

This is premade convenience food, so some menu items may not be available later in the day. The plantation ice tea is refreshing, and the servers were friendly.
